Thank you to the puppy owners who were able to join the call tonight!
I really enjoyed the first Puppy Owners Q&A for eveyone this evening! Thank you all who joined - It's always lovely to get puppy parents together to discuss the fun, joys and dilemmas of having a puppy, and to discuss things as a small group! I feel that it also allows you as puppy parents to realise that actually, you're not alone with the frustrations that puppy parenthood can bring! Tonight we spoke about - excitement on a walk, losing focus out and about, puppy biting, nibbling of furniture (possibly for attention!) and more! We also had a small talk on how we can use and test out other rewards - thinking outside the box beyond food rewards - to help with building on the learning experience for our pups! For anyone who missed it, I will be running another free Q&A puppy support call next Wednesday 17th at the same time of 8pm. Of course, I will be reminding you all next week, and you should get an email closer to the day to remind you. You can also go to the 'calender' section and save the call to your calender.

Thanks Sarah. Was lovely to meet other puppy parents experiencing similar things also 🤣💛
Will you be joining me on tomorrow's live call at 8pm?
So, tomorrow, I have a call booked in the 'calender', for anyone in this group who wants to join. The purpose of tomorrow's call is to discuss any current puppy frustrations you might have, and hopefully I will be able to give some guidance to help relieve the pressure! To join the call at 8pm, go to the calender, click on the link for the right date, and then click the link inside. It SHOULD then take you straight to the video call. This will be the first time I have used Skool for video calling, so there may be some teething problems, but hopefully we will be able to navigate them quickly! Comment below if you plan on joining!

The jumpy/lunging/barking excitement when seeing people and/or dogs when we’re out. Try to distance from them when I spot them but sometimes it’s unavoidable. I’m not as exciting as them obviously 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣
Confession time!
So may times, puppy parents have said to me... 'You must have the MOST WELL BEHAVED DOG EVER!' But The truth is... My dog can be a bit of a pain in the arse too! Today, Prince, my 13 year old staffy x lab is just having A DAY! He's decided to just be a bit of a dick today and is FAR from perfect! He's been woofing for no apparent reason, attention seeking by throwing shoes in the air while I'm cooking, and even jumped on the sofa and took a lick of my partners Baileys drink out of the glass! He's absolutely NEVER done this before and I feel totally embarrassed at his behaviour! I decided to give him some entertainment by playing a game of 'find it' along with some training to keep his mind occupied. He should be sleeping by now! I wanted to tell you this to show you the reality of bringing up animals... and not robots. Even dog trainers have dogs and not robots - anyone telling you different are lying! Your dog WILL test you - no matter what age they are! I love my dog no matter what, and I know there will be a day where I miss his mischief. Has your dog tested your patience today? Share a pic on the wall of shame!

Love this. Called Lilith a dick a few times today, stole and destroyed a full toilet roll and has chewed the remote so have had to order a new one 🤦🏼‍♀️
A little shoutout to my puppy owners… 🐾
Puppy parenthood isn’t always sunshine and snuggles. It can be loud, messy, emotional and exhausting. You’re not just looking after a baby dog — you’re learning to understand a whole new species. Their body language, their needs, their way of seeing the world. And honestly? You’re doing brilliantly! Every bit of advice I share, you take it on board with open minds and open hearts. You put it into practice, day in and day out — even when it’s hard, even when progress feels slow. And because of that, you're seeing real results. It’s not easy, but you’re sticking with it. That says everything! Your dogs are growing in confidence because you are growing in confidence. You’re building relationships based on trust, communication and understanding. That’s not just training — that’s something really special. So here’s to you — for showing up, learning, listening, and loving your dogs through every stage. I’m proud of you. And you should be proud of yourselves too. 💛
A little shoutout to my puppy owners… 🐾
