How do you deal with the voice in your head that says "who am I to write this?"

What's the one part of your book that's been sitting untouched the longest and why do you think that is?

A character in my story is trying to calm someone down, and his voice goes up at the end of his sentence. "Uptalk" is what google says it is, but I feel like that's not a commonly known thing. How would you explain it?

I am in another Skool group for writers and she posted a reminder of the rules, and it was aggressive. No self-promotion, no soliciting, no offers (and if you have a thesaurus, you know these are all the same thing) and no teaching. That last one doesn't make sense to me. If someone asks for advice and I know how to do it, I want to help...but I'm not allowed? So is that group just to pop by and say "congrats!" to people who post wins? Where is the community in that? That being said, there are no rules to this group yet, as I want to see where it goes first, but I want us to collaborate. If you want to teach something, please do! If you have offers related to books, share them! If you want to share a link to your published work, let's have it! Please don't randomly DM someone though. Ask to do so in their comment section so they don't get bombarded with offers. Thanks all!
