How long have you been using ChatGPT?
ChatGPT launched in November 2022, created by OpenAI…so yes it’s just turned 3. For early adopters it quickly evolved from a simple chatbot into a thinking partner for learning, decision-making, creativity, and everyday work. How long have you been dabbling?

I've been using it almost since the beginning...maybe January of 2023. I can definitely learn more, though!
A Xmas gift for getting here early…
This space is just getting going, but seeing as you are already here, let the gifts begin. Head over to ChatGPT, start a new post and stick the 🎁 (gift emoji) into the thread and see what happens. Let us know in the comments what you got…naughty or nice?

I did this one yesterday! I apparently was good.
Xmas Trends…love them or hate them?
I think my failed AI festive photo is hitting the spot. Here’s the thing about AI.. Yes these prompts that get us all looking like Barbie, or a Spice Girl, or Santas Sexy Helper…are fun, but they only scratch the surface as to what is possible. It is easy to think that AI is only about content creation…I want to show you a different perspective. Have you taken part in this trend?

Ha ha! That's crazy. No, I haven't done the Christmas themed prompt yet, but I played around a lot with ChatGPT's improved image generator and wow, I was impressed. I showed some of the images to my husband and he said," Wait, when was this taken? I don't remember that!" I mean, he really thought they were actual pictures of actual ME.😆

Hello and welcome to Help with AI 👋 I’m really glad you’re here….I guess I’d better tell you a bit about who I am before the official launch of this community. I’ve spent the last 30 years working at the intersection of creativity, business, and change. I started out in the arts, moved into digital and multimedia, and over time became the person organisations, founders, and communities turn to when things feel messy, overwhelming, or stuck. I’ve helped thousands of people navigate big shifts. From scaling mission-led businesses, to rebuilding confidence after redundancy, to making sense of new technology without losing their values or their voice. During COVID alone, I supported over 3,000 SMEs to adapt, rethink their models, and keep going when the ground was moving fast. AI is just the latest chapter in that story. I’m also an ordinary person, a perimenopausal 47 year old, working class, solo parent, juggling ADHD hyperfocus and adult overwhelm lol What I’m passionate about isn’t tech tools for the sake of it. I care about clarity, agency, and helping capable people use AI in ways that genuinely support their work, their income, and their energy. Less noise. Fewer gimmicks. More thoughtful, human-first application. This space exists because too many smart people feel either behind, sceptical, or quietly curious about AI. All of that belongs here. You don’t need to perform. You don’t need to pretend you’ve got it all figured out. This is a place to think out loud, experiment safely, and learn how to work with AI in a way that feels aligned and useful. Before you dive in, I’d love you to say hi below 👇 Tell me your name, what brought you here, and for fun… how long have you known me? Is it years, months, weeks, or did we literally just meet? Jump in, introduce yourself, and make yourself at home. I hope you are as excited as I am to grow this community.

Hello! Love your story of the last 30 years. I'm Kathy, and I found you from another Skool group that we're both in (at the moment I don't remember which), but here we are. So, I've known you for a couple of days.🤠 I love Ai, but know I'm not using it in the best ways that I can, so I'm eager to learn more.🙃

Starting something new is always scary...but imagine if we never took the leap and only ever stuck to the places that felt comfortable? This is the first post in a brand spanking new space, and I am so glad that you are here to witness it with me. So how about we start with a reminder of why new things are flipping amazing (as well as scary), and lets see what we are made of. Say hello below, and share an example of something new you have recently done...or about to do so we can all cheerlead your bravery and commitment to your evolution...and if it has involved AI or emerging tech even better. Right...over to you....

Depending on how recently you mean, I started a Skool group in August, and I moved to Texas! That's after living on the west coast of the US for my entire life of 60+ years. Both very big and stretchy things for me. The move had nothing to do with AI, but I sure use it a lot in my business and am so very grateful for it. AI has helped me take a million ideas in my brain, plus weird connections said brain makes and turn them into something not only usable, but that makes sense to me. I always thought I was scatterbrained, or bouncing all over the place with my thoughts, but it turns out there's always been a method to my madness!🤠
