What are you working on?
Please share your work! Please? Pretty please? I love seeing graphic design. And you may inspire someone else. It doesn’t need to be perfect. This is a judgement free zone! Want feedback? Guidance? Just say so when you share 😁 Too shy to post your work? I have a form where you can share it with me privately on the community page ♥️ Here’s what I’m working on (a journal cover)

Skool Magazine
Did you know that there’s an “unofficial” Skool magazine? I know several of you are planning, or at least considering, your own Skool community. I recently found out there’s a Skool magazine. I’m in another community where it was shared last month. And I thought it fitting to share with yall as well ♥️ https://skoo.ly/readissue06now This is the latest edition. A new one is coming soon!

Image Upscaling
If you sell digital products (or products created from digital products/images) it's important to upscale your images! What is upscaling? Upscaling an image is increasing the dpi (dots per inch) of the image. The fewer dpi, the more "pixelated" an image looks. What is pixelated? That's all the little dots or squares you see when you zoom in on an image. Why is upscaling important? When you create a small digital image... say for a social media post... it's so compressed and small that you can't immediately notice low dpi. But what happens when you click on that image to enlarge it? What happens when you zoom in? If it hasn't been upscaled, you immediately notice how blurry the image is. Same thing happens when an image is enlarged - think tshirt prints, posters, journal covers, etc. Take a look at the images below. Go ahead, click on them, so that you can see each one in a larger view. Each one looks a little different as it relates to image quality. The first one was downloaded to Canva after saving from ChatGPT to PC, then downloaded from Canva as a png to PC. The second one was upscaled using the Image Upscaler app in Canva at 8x. The last one was upscaled using i💙img at 4x. Can you tell the difference?? If you were a customer purchasing this png, which one would you want to receive to use for your products?? Upscaling your images makes a HUGE difference. And not all upscalers are created equally, obviously! The website is iLoveIMG | The fastest free web app for easy image modification They allow 3 image upscales per day, or you can subscibe to (I believe) unlimited upscaling for $9/month. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

The Launchpad
Hey y’all! I hope you’re having an amazing weekend so far! Just wanted to let yall know a few things real quick: I’ve made the community module titled “The Launchpad” open for everybody. As graphic designers there are some basic guidelines that we all need to know - those are in that module. Start at the beginning and work your way through those! I’d love to hear your feedback - leave a comment once you watch them (even if you watch one at a time and comment on each one). I keep my TikTok Live recordings! They’re in The Replays Module. You do need the premium tier to access them - to subscribe to premium tier just click on a locked module and follow the instructions- and a huge thank you to those who are already Premium Clickers! 🫶🏼 I’m putting together a Canva class for free and another one for premium members to build a digital planner cover. More details on that soon. ♥️ I’m planning a 4-6 weeks workshop for Canva website building. We will be starting from ground zero. If you are lost when it comes to your niche & branding - don’t miss it! As I get closer in planning I’ll announce the dates for that. Thank you for being here! Thank you for being patient with me as I grow the community! 🩷 Missi
