walk

create-heal-shine-5452

From re-learning how to walk (and stride!) and snowshoe after an ischemic stroke, this club is validating the finding of meaning and mindfulness in a walk - not just walking for the exercise. I feel like I can reclaim my "little kid" in stopping to LOOK at the little things, stones and fungi and lichens and wee creatures and the little 'still life' moments nature has left for me. Permission to just go and wander, and to choose a challenge to focus that attention on has been releasing.
