Real life doesn’t always follow perfect Feng Shui.
I wanted to share something that happened in my home this week… We had a pipe burst that was connected to the dishwasher something we thought had already been fixed. We turned it on, left the house for a couple of hours, and came back to find about an inch of water right throughout the home. Not exactly what you expect when you walk through your front door. It was uncomfortable, unexpected, and very real. But here’s where this becomes important from an energy perspective… - How quickly you can respond - The support you have around you - And how you move forward from it In our case, we had help straight away. My daughter and her boyfriend stepped in, and we were able to start clearing the water immediately. Now it’s humidifiers, heaters, and a whole lot of patience while everything dries out over the week. 🧭 What this can represent energetically. Water in Feng Shui is often connected to: - Emotions - Flow - Finances When water shows up unexpectedly in a home, it can be worth gently reflecting on: - Where things may feel out of control - Where something has been “leaking” your energy - Or where change is already in motion ✨ A simple way to work with this if something like this happens in your home: 1. Deal with the physical first (especially with water as we all know that mould has the potential to creep in) 2. Once things settle, clear the energy of the event 3. Reset your space with a new intention Even opening windows, using sound, or doing a simple reset can shift how the space feels afterwards. We’re still in the middle of it here drying out floors and adjusting. But we’re moving through it and shit happens. 😃
