Anybody ever use this product instead of replacing the suspension rods?

Purchased a “working” Maytag washer and it fills with water and sounds like it temporarily agitates in the “sensing” mode and then stops and doesn’t progress to wash light. Any ideas? There is no codes stored, I’ve also done the recalibration cycle
