To Email or Not To Email? - What's You Take on This?
When I started my sports mindset coaching business I relied on emails to connect more deeply with my audience. Majority of them were reading my emails, applying the lessons, but not many signing up to my coaching program. Since I opened this community, I stopped using emails, because Skool has this function built in, and I've found that I am using too many platforms and software for a "1 man business". But... Tonight I had a discussion with Jen Hill Myers and she explained to me all the benefits that I might be missing from using emails as part of my client nurturing and attraction system - and I think that now I have changed my mind... What is your view/opinion on using email marketing - or just email to connect with your audience, outside Skool? Are you using it? or are you considering using it?

I agree with Jen on this one ☝️ In business your mailing list is the only asset you ever truly own, so 110% Having a nurture sequence attached to your Skool community helps to book more calls or bring more members into your community. I still Email all members once a week separate from the community as an additional touch point. Most will open Emails and not Skool notifications 😊
How To Spot The Bots - Or Fake Membership Request😒
I woke up to this membership request, and at a first look it seemed to be genuine... But then I had a deeper look, and I've found something hilarious. So I made a video to share with you guys what are some areas/ check points that you should look at to see if there's a real person behind that membership request.

I've had to remove two members recently, one starting DMing all of my members. It's definitely worth digging deeper. Great deep dive!

Merry Xmas Alex!! 🎄
A Reminder From "Baby" Alex and Leila
For some reason, YouTube recommended me this video from a channel that I’ve never been on, but it is so cool to see Alex and Leila 6 years ago… they were still cool and cute 😁 And honestly, this is such a powerful reminder of the amount of work that sits behind these two incredible people, the work that “helped” them reach the level we see them at today. What really hit me is this: They were already in the game back then Already showing up Already doing the hard work Already building Then they hit what we could call big success… And they still didn’t stop They kept going Kept working Kept raising the standard It’s such a good reminder that big things take a long time to build And that patience + consistency matter way more than quick wins. Safe to say… I will never ever complain again 👀

I only just watched a Leila Hormozi video last night. Up until now I had been all Alex, but she is excellent! I’ll definitely be binge watching her stuff now.
Got any good tricks up your sleeve?
You know those little tricks that just make work so much easier? I bet we've all got a few. I have a long to-do list that I'd love to get it done by Sunday but it looks like a never-ending list... Anyone want to share a good trick/advice they've picked up? Could be a real timesaver for me but also for someone else here✨ I appreciate your contribution🙌

Something that changed my life was reading the book “7 Habits of highly effective people” - which teaches the Eisenhower matrix. This is a concept that speaks about how much of the things we spend our time on as business owners doesn’t move us forward, and helps us to group our tasks into quadrants, helping us to see what we should really be working on. With this, if I have a never ending list, I will go through it and understand really what I should be working on and what can wait. I talk about it in a time management session I filmed. You’ll get access to that tomorrow 🙌
