What are you searching that's non-business related?
We are buying a house! 🤞 the deal goes through since we are in negotiations on the fixes after we did the inspection. I have been using ChatGpt & Perplexity: -researching fireplace fixes and what to ask contractors (got a crazy fireplace education on all the ways to fix a fireplace in just minutes) -radon level safety levels and fixes -I have uploaded estimates and asked for a line-by-line explanation -homeowner's insurance company's ratings, and what to ask when getting quotes -title company ratings, costs if they are publicly listed, and who pays what -paint color suggestions - my office is a hot debate right now (keep the wood or not, dark midnight blue or sage green) What have you used AI for to research that isn't business-related? And weigh in - what color are you choosing?

We are researching new vehicles - it's so much easier to get the AI to do all the research and comparisons for us! 🎉 I vote for the sage green with the white (but I'd prob paint the window trim white, too...or rather make my husband do it, since my hands tremble like a cold chihuahua! LOL).

@Karrie Chariton Catastrophe avoidance is a PROPER use of AI! 😉 We're vacillating between getting another truck (same as the one we have now) or sizing "down" to an SUV. We're not as, um, "limber" as we were in our youth, so getting in and out of the truck isn't going to get any easier (LOL), but I'm not sure I'm ready to give up the power of being the big kid on the road! 😅 I've seen videos of professional painters doing window trim - they make it look as easy as walking!
Happy New Year 🥳🧨
Wishing you all a healthy and abundant 2026! So back in Skool after getting back from vacation and hit with influence A...probably caught while on the plane or vacation. I have been doing some end of the year reflection/ 2026 planning. How are you approaching 2026?

2026 came in like a grumpy toddler terrorizing the household! LOL We ended 2025 with multiple trips to the ER and started 2026 with emergency surgery (all my husband, not me), so my plans to hit the ground running with my business have looked more like sitting around in waiting rooms with crappy wifi. 🙈😅 But I've had a lot of time to "sit and think," so I'm thankful for that, as it forced me to reflect more on where I want to go and how I want to get there. And now that he as a stage where he requires less of my full-time energy, I'm focusing on making small, forward-moving steps!
What are you doing with AI?
When you entered the the community and answered the question, "How comfortable are you with using AI right now, " a lot of you said you were experimenting or using it weekly. What types of things are you experimenting with? Prompting, different tools or software? And to those who said they used it weekly, what types of tasks are you using AI for?

I definitely use it to help me organize my thoughts - I'll just dump my braindumps in and ask it to help me sort and organize and prioritize, etc. I also use it to help me edit my newsletter content - I tend to ramble and then the whole thing gets waaay too long, so AI helps me get to the meat of it. And I most definitely use it to create product mockups! 😁

What are you thankful for?
It's almost Thanksgiving Day in the US. While we aren't a turkey-eating family (chicken is more our thing), I do love apple pie! 🥧 Take a moment to think about what or who you are grateful for and drop it below. I am thankful for y'all joining my Skool community! 💗 I look forward to sharing all the AI goodness with you and having lots of conversations. I am an open book (and read lots of biz/personal dev books). I have almost 10 years of online biz experience, have used way too many tools along the way, and am enjoying all the learning around AI. There's a lot of fun coming your way! xoxo Karrie

As cliche as it sounds, I'm thankful for AI! I use it daily and it's become a big time saver for me. I'm also thankful for my late father. I was blessed to have a Dad who was always on the cutting edge of every new bit of technology (and he was a Boomer, so that is saying a LOT lol), and he was fascinated by the concept of AI - in fact, the first "computer game" I ever played was ELIZA (iykyk 🤣)! He instilled in me a lifelong love of learning, and I'm forever thankful for that. He passed right about the time AI was just getting going, and every time I use AI I think of how much he would've enjoyed it and how he would have been leaps and bounds above the rest of us in his big-brain understanding of it all. I'm deeply thankful for his impact on my life! ♥

Why Use a Custom GPT vs. Regular ChatGPT
I got asked this so I thought I would share in case you were all wondering...Why would I use a GPT if I can just ask chat? Why would I make one if I can just ask chat? Think of building a house. You have a general contractor who knows a lot about building houses, but when he builds the house, he hires specialists: an electrician, a plumber, tile installer, etc. Why? Because they are experts in their field. They do it day in and day out so they can do it faster. They have seen a lot of house styles, designs, techniques, etc., because that's what they do. Custom GPTs are created and trained for a specific task so they do it better. You certainly can ask Chatty, Claude, Gemini, or whatever your favorite, but they have broad knowledge. You may ask the same question and get different answers. You'll see course creators and coaches offering custom GPTs now with their programs. The GPTs are trained with their knowledge, experience, and frameworks. Why? Because it helps you implement their programs faster. A custom GPT is like having them as a coach in your pocket. I have created a lot of digital products over the years and now am adding GPTs so they can be implemented faster. Gone are the days when people will sit down and watch video tutorials. Just tell me how to do it. lol :) Agree?

It's like you read my mind! 🫣😉 This makes a lot of sense - thank you for explaining it! This line: "You may ask the same question and get different answers" - puts a spotlight on the key difference, I think (assuming I'm understanding you correctly), and that is training the custom GPT on a narrow concept will keep it from just randomly grabbing for answers. Thank you!
