How do you go from homeless…
To a £76 million exit? I will be hosting and interviewing Kevin live for Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce: This isn’t theory. This is real. Next Friday, in Peterborough, you’ll hear directly from Kevin Byrne - Founder of checkatrade. → From living in his car → To building Checkatrade from a shed → To exiting for £76 million → How he did it... → And what he’s done since No fluff. No textbook answers. Just real insight from someone who’s been there… Built it… And delivered. This is your opportunity to: → Meet Kevin in person → Ask the questions you actually want answered → Sit in a room with like-minded business owners Last few places remaining. And when they’re gone… they’re gone. Kevin only does a handful of these each year. Don’t miss this one. Friday 27 March Holiday Inn Peterborough West 6:30pm – late Book now or miss the opportunity - click the link below: 👉 Read more and book your place: https://shorturl.at/f6KHF

Without Leads, You Don’t Have Sales
And Without Sales, You Don’t Have a Business LESSON JUST ADDED: It always surprises me that people say they want mentoring, say they want advice, say they want to grow their business… But only a handful actually turn up to the Skool free mentoring sessions on The Growth Syndicate The funny thing is, those same handful are the ones who are growing, improving, and seeing real gains. Why? - Because they show up. - They listen. - They apply. This new lesson came directly from a live mentoring session on Saturday 7 March. We ended up unpacking one of the most important truths in business. If your pipeline is empty… your business will eventually be too. Inside the lesson we cover: • Why most “quiet months” are self inflicted • The biggest mistake entrepreneurs make when they get busy • Why funnels empty faster than you think • The new way customers actually discover businesses today • Why visibility now matters more than search • How slow responses kill leads • Why networking only works if you work it • The system that keeps enquiries flowing Most entrepreneurs try to fix sales. But the real problem is usually much earlier in the chain. Leads. If you’re serious about growing your business, this lesson is worth 10 minutes of your time. Go and watch it now... and read the worksheet Then ask yourself one question: Is your funnel actually full… Or are you just hoping the phone rings? Superb - the power of PR!!
PR - The Superpower to Massive business valuation
Miss this weeks Masterclass lesson, and you're missing ££Millions of business valuation People think PR is a nice to do. Something you do later. When you’ve got time. When the business is bigger. When you can “afford” a bit of fluffy marketing. That mindset costs people millions. PR is not about vanity. It’s not about ego. It’s not about seeing your face in a magazine. PR is value creation. The difference between an ordinary business and a premium business. Charlie Mullins didn’t sell at 4× EBITDA (The Average UK Valuation). He sold at 29×. Kevin Byrne didn’t sell at 4×. He sold at 22×. I didn’t sell at 4×. I sold at 18×. That gap isn’t operations. It isn’t margins. It isn’t spreadsheets. It’s reputation. If nobody knows you, you are replaceable. If everybody knows you, you are valuable. PR is the slow layering of belief. Not one advert. Not one campaign. Not one press headline when you want to exit. Years of visibility. Years of authority. Years of being talked about when you are not in the room. Without it you have a business. With it you have a brand. And brands are bought differently. One tick tells you its Nike One yellow M and we know its McDonalds Fred Bloggs IT services or Bill's bakery mean nothing !! Create a Brand if you want to be taken seriously Go through this weeks masterclass. (Link below) Listen to the podcast. Work through the worksheet. Then ask yourself honestly: Am I building a company… or an asset? Set some PR goals today. Become known. Or stay invisible. https://www.skool.com/thegrowthsyndicate/classroom/e8a00b2c?md=90dd59eda95f4d8ca22107624fc948e0

It may come as no surprise that I agree with every word!!
Two days left of January.
This is the danger zone. This is where people quietly decide “This month’s basically done.” “I’ll reset properly in February.” Yes, plan ahead. But understand this. Most people don’t miss their goals because they aim too high. They miss them because they ease off too early. They slow down near the line. They mentally check out. They drift into comfort mode. And that’s where the gap is created. As January closes, don’t give up. Give it everything: - Right to the last hour. - Right to the last minute. - Right to the last action. The people who keep pushing when others coast Don’t just win. They compound. They 10x the results of those who surrender early. It is always too soon to give up. As Winston Churchill put it: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Finish the month strong. Momentum loves commitment. See you on the other side of January.
