1. Originally from the Southwest Florida area, currently in Tampa 2. I actually don't own a business (gasp) but I've worked as a freelance writer, editor, and copywriter for academic articles, fictional works, and B2B/B2C work with a few different companies. I'm in the process of getting my PhD in rhetoric and composition right now and I teach Prof. and Tech Communication, Composition, and Business Writing to college students. 3. I come at SEO from a writer's perspective, which I think is a strength. My research interests are focused on looking at how we write for people as well as machines (algorithms, AI), and how that will shape rhetoric in the future. 4. Me and my co-author just sent out our first draft of a manuscript for publication. It's all about how SEO became so crucial to businesses and page rankings, and what it means for the "rhetorical situation" of audience (human and machine) as well as the ethics behind this work. I'm excited to use your experiences and advice to help polish that up for final submission! 5. (P.S. Evan sorry for the late post lol)
