Hello Everyone, Hope you all are doing well !! Finally Spring is in the air. Very happy to see long and bright days. 🤩 The yellow carpet of daffodils 💐all around the city is definitely a sign for better days. Usually when we think of giants 👹, huge monstrous characters are what comes to our mind. There are exceptions like the Genie in Aladdin, Roald Dahl's Big Friendly giant who are friendly and admired by all. I wonder whether babies think adults as giants 🤔? Can a boy be a giant ? But for whom? This is what we find out from this book Boy Giant by Michael Morpurgo. I always admired authors who introduce very serious topics to kids in a way that they can understand. Michael Morpurgo is one of them. Please try to read it before the book club and we can discuss further 😉Spoiler Alert: You would definitely be chanting some words after finishing the book. Hello Everyone, Hope you all are doing well !! Wish everything is going good in the new school year and looking forward for the half term 😊 (I learnt that this is the one of the longest term of 8 weeks) This is Kasthuri again here and from Hogwarts 😊 I am sure some of you must had potter mania at some stage of your life. For me it started when my kids were in year 3/4. At that point, most of the house hold items were of Gryffinndor, Slytherin, Harry Potter stationary, dress up costumes etc. That is the power of magic in J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series. I am blown-away with the details she had included in the wizarding world. Me and my son would like to share the joy with you all in this month book club.
