New feature: 1-time payment
A new Skool feature has just been rolled out: one-time payment. You can now offer lifetime access to your community for a single payment (up to $999). I believe this will allow many to use Skool as a platform to sell an online course with a one-time fee. But strangely, the price cap is lower than the possible annual recurring fee ($4,999). I also think some will simply use it as a way to filter access to their community. Is this a feature you’re considering testing?

Another key point: it filters out the non-serious people who join like in a Facebook group, ending up in 150 groups as ghosts. 👻

I also love the fact that it allows for offering a super specific and fast transformation without the pressure of monthly payments. Example: 💡 "Join my community to FIX A" (on-demand training): That’s really KOOL! But once A is fixed, why stay? 🤔 [objection before interring] The foundations of a good community remain: - Attract people to FIX A. - Keep them engaged because A is resolved, but the community still provides a lot of value. This approach lets you stay in touch and eventually move them into a High-Ticket proximity offer. 🚀 I discovered this on the Skool Games (just 1h30 ago 😅), and the more I think about it, the more I’m adopting it. I don't have the official source yet, but they are now putting some rules into play. I know you are not all concerned by it but it will be interesting to see how they enforce it, and if some stay allowed to break the rules, and other not... As soon as I find the official page I'll let you know!
