DO YOU SUPPORT INDEPENDENT FILMS/FILMAKERS?
Either we, or someone know is a filmaker, or actor(actress), and I'm not talking about social media clips/skits... but actual films, do you support them? if so? what ways would you say you can support them?

Hi, @Carrie Prun ! Great question! My sister and brother-in-law are feature film producers and they have created two feature length films Plus some shorter films and they are right now working on a feature-length film focused on raising awareness and conversation about suicide to help combat it inspired by the suicide rate in Switzerland believe it or not. I've supported them with encouragement and promoting their films sharing the ones they've been released sharing the website links and information on my social media and with people I thought would be interested and also in this current project I have met through one of the TV networks in my streaming TV community I have introduced them to three or four people who are in the film industry. Which by the way might be good introductions for you as well we should talk about that!

Reflections from my times on TV
As a florist, for almost 10 years I did 3 minute segments in a women's variety show 8-10 times a year in exchange for weekly flowers for their set. So my flowers were on all those years, too! I created all kinds of content: still shots of me and the TV personalities with the flowers, and also since the lighting was so good, in the down time they usually let me take pictures of the arrangements themselves. Then the video footage of the spots. I was supposed to receive a professional copy and that never panned out. If I had my sister or a friend along, they could use my phone and capture. I ended up capturing some taking a video of it on the TV, so not great quality. I created posts before airing, during and after. It's important to leverage any kind of appearance and use the shots on social, website, blogs, and wherever we have media. The most benefit? Increased credibility, and the chef you see below hired me as his in house florist after meeting me on the set, and having a need 6 months later and remembering my unique designs.

@Carrie Prun Regarding cooking shows, Especially ones where they Tell stories and tied to different cultures.
My favorite TV watching
I like the Olympics, the snowboard half pipe at the X games, Tour de France. Also Rick Steve's travel shows, some nature shows, if they're not too focused on violence or climate change. Gutfeld, the president's cabinet meetings. Clean comedy. Some documentaries.
