Let's be honest... Most self-published authors have at least one book sitting on Amazon that barely gets any sales. Maybe you published it, crossed your fingers, and hoped Amazon would somehow do the marketing for you. Or maybe you got excited about the next book idea and moved on before giving the first book a real chance to succeed. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone. This is one of the most common mistakes I see among self-publishers, especially newer authors. We spend weeks creating a book, hit publish, and then immediately jump to the next project without ever optimizing or promoting the one we already have. The good news? There are still plenty of things you can do to improve your book's visibility and give it a better opportunity to generate sales.
