To the mum that has 2 presents under the tree- you’re a great mum. To the mum that has 30 presents under the tree- you’re a great mum. To the mum that has no presents under the tree- you’re a great mum. To the mum that has no tree- you’re a great mum. To the mum that had to ask for donations this year- you’re a great mum. To the mum that stood in line at a food Bank - you’re a great mum. To the mum that has everything wrapped- you’re a great mum. To the mum that hasn’t shopped yet- you’re a great mum. To the mum that cant do anything this year- you’re a great mum. To the grieving mother that is ready for the season to pass- you’re a great mum. To the newly single mum that cries at the thought of Christmas morning- you’re a great mum. To the mum that doesn’t celebrate Christmas- you’re a great mum. To the mum that doesn’t tell her kids Santa is real- you’re a great mum. To the mum that forgets to move the elf every night- you’re a great mum. To the mum barely holding it together- you’re a great mum. This season does not define how great of a parent you are People’s beliefs and traditions don’t have to be the same Remember that ....... Merry Christmas Eve Eve ❤️🎄

Merry Christmas Eve, Eve. Have a lovely Christmas 💖
Tearful
Today I feel completely drained and very tearful. I think it is really hitting me today about my mum, realising she won’t be here with us Christmas especially when she was spending it with us this year in my new house. 🥲🥲

we are spending Christmas with my son, daughter in law and grandsons and Boxing Day with my daughter and her son. That is what I’m going to do focus on my grandchildren and make sure they enjoy their day. X
I feel smug 😆
Just sat and wrapped ALLLLLL my kids presents in 3 hours. Like an absolute mad women on a mission whilst Liam took them out. I did NOT plan how shopping for 3 pre teens would be when I decided to home educate them. It’sbeen hard but i will definitely know for next year. Lesson learned 🤣 Have you wrapped? Or still running around like a crazy women?🥵🎁💝

Celebrate You !
Happy Friday all! Christmas is 6 days away and we know for so many of you, this season isn’t all twinkling lights and cozy moments - it’s chaos, it’s triggering, it’s exhausting, it’s expensive, it’s complicated. But you’re still here. Still showing up. Still doing the next thing 🙌 So today’s question: What’s ONE small moment of peace, joy, or grace you found THIS WEEK - even in the middle of all the Christmas madness? Maybe it was 10 minutes alone in your car. Maybe it was saying no to something you didn’t have capacity for. Maybe it was an honest conversation instead of faking fine. Maybe it was letting yourself cry. Maybe it was a song, a cup of coffee that actually stayed hot long enough for you to drink it 😂 Maybe it was just… getting through the week! Share it below 👇 We celebrate the REAL - the messy, the tiny, the this is all I could manage today. Your small wins? They’re not small at all. Not to us. Not to the other women here who need to know they’re not alone in finding this season hard. You matter. Your peace matters. And we see you 🫶 Danielle & Suzanne Xoxo

I think I may be in the stripping stage at the moment, at the moment it feels hard to know where I am. I think god called me through those church doors to help my grief of losing my dadand mum within a year. I wanted to go back to church when my dad died but I didn’t like the church where I use to live. I moved to Suffolk in June and When mum died I just felt that calling to the church,I needed to go. The weekend I went back was the start of November when it was all about dealing with grief and losing loved ones. I’m still having good days and bad days, I think once I have closure of dealing with my mums estate. It’s been the best thing I’ve done going to church, I feel so much better when I leave mass each week. With the help of rise, I know I’m going to come out of this ok and learn how to be me again without all the grief. I do lack confidence and I have just signed up to learn how to use a sewing machine at the ripe age of 60, well will be 61 when I do the course in January. Thank you both for setting up this community 💞
