šŸŽ² June Poetry Business Bingo Is LIVE! šŸŽ² We're Focusing on RELATIONSHIPS!
Poets, One of the biggest myths in our industry is that talent alone creates opportunities. It doesn't. Relationships create opportunities. Relationships create referrals. Relationships create partnerships. Relationships create revenue. That's why this month's Poetry Business Bingo theme is: šŸ¤ Connect. Collaborate. Grow. Every square on this month's card is designed to help you strengthen your network, build meaningful relationships, and position yourself for future opportunities. This month you'll be challenged to: āœ… Reconnect with past clients and collaborators āœ… Build new professional relationships āœ… Follow up with old leads āœ… Ask for referrals and testimonials āœ… Support other creatives āœ… Expand your network intentionally Remember: your next booking, speaking engagement, workshop, sponsorship, partnership, or client may be one conversation away. The poets who consistently grow are rarely the most talented. They're often the most connected. So don't just download the card. Play the game. Do the work. Share your progress. Complete any row or column and submit your card inside here in PBI for a chance to win! Drop a comment if you're participating this month and tell us which square you're tackling first! Let's grow together.

Wow this is a great concept, thanks Christoph! I actually want to step out on a skinny branch and do some of these. It’s a first step of many I hope. I’ll keep you posted.šŸ˜

So after reviewing the Bingo Card. I've already made some moves in the first 3 days. 1. I created a new Facebook account for my writing and networking in an effort to increase the exposure of my work and build relationships. 06/03/2026 2. I committed and got on my first Zoom with other writers and did a reading of my work in progress. 06/02/2026 3. Met to new writers. 06/02/2026 4. 06/01/2026 I referred a new acquaintance to the Skool platform and opened a gateway to share my work and advised them to engage in what our communities can support them with for their own personal goals with their writing.* Follow-up on this will be announced. 5. I made an offer to collaborate with a graphic artist I've known for about six years, and we recently bumped into each other and her to illustrate the books of my poetry for publication. 06/01/2026 * Follow-up on this will be announced. So I feel like I'm off to a good start, and my focus has shifted.

Poet Life Fest Promotion & Tickets Go Live Tomorrow!!!
Hey Family, Tomorrow, June 1st, we officially launch the promotion campaign for Poet Life Fest 2026 | The Poet's Homecoming! Over the next month and a half, we'll be documenting the entire process... from planning and partnerships to sponsorships, vendors, marketing, ticket sales, programming, community engagement, and execution. Why? Because building a successful event is a business. And we want you to see what it looks like in real time. This isn't just about a festival. It's about learning how to: āœ… Build a movement āœ… Create opportunities āœ… Develop partnerships āœ… Secure sponsors āœ… Market experiences āœ… Sell tickets āœ… Build community āœ… Generate revenue from your creativity Many people talk about building something. We're going to show you. If you're serious about learning the business side of poetry, creativity, events, and community building, make sure you're following the journey. šŸ“Most of the behind-the-scenes updates, discussions, lessons, wins, challenges, and strategic decisions will be shared inside the Poetry Business Network. If you're not already a member, now is the perfect time to join us. This is your opportunity to watch a major cultural event get built from the ground up while learning principles you can apply to your own poetry business, creative brand, event, nonprofit, or movement. The Homecoming begins tomorrow. Who's ready? šŸ‘€šŸ”„ PoetLifeFest.com P.S. Let us know what you think of the landing page! I'd love your feedback.

Backpack Jeff and Mr. Christoph!
This was my very first attendance at one of these calls, virtual meetings. I have been a member for some time now. But never found time to connect with this community until last evening. What impressed me was the energy and knowledge shared. What I took away was more insight and navigation tools. Here are some structural elements on how I can be proactive visually and socially to connect with an audience. Networking entities that can formalize long-term relationships with community partners, and how to stretch my boundaries. Alleviating many roadblocks that we hold onto because of a lack of action. Unaddressed goals, and being a lone entity. My goal moving forward is to find an accountability buddy. Hopefully, some in the community here also would want to have someone like me to kick it with, around the work of our poetry. Our intentions and our endeavors to broaden our landscape of sharing the written word. Any interested members? Please DM. I appreciate the time and connection, Mr. Christoph, and BP Jeff honored us with, and I look forward to additional engagements in the future.
