it’s a little dark a little flat but it tastes fantastic. Sourdough is the ultimate test of patience.

@Sandra Brenes it didn’t bulk ferment long enough my kitchen was cold & I wasn’t patient enough to wait longer because I needed to go to bed. So I need to start earlier!!
My first loaf or is it loave? 😳
I did my first baking yesterday. Here is a picture of the final product. I feel like I panicked & forgot everything you taught us in class, but then went with “it’s not that serious” just keep going. Now my biggest confusion is my next feed (I fed Saturday) do I discard some starter before I feed again? Meet “Doughlene’s” first baby!

Yes. I did feed my starter after I pulled from it and put it in the fridge after it doubled. But I keep hearing people talk about discard, and I don’t know what the heck they are talking about. I will probably bake again next Saturday. So I fed Saturday 3/14.
