Luke 22:39–46 — Not My Will, but Yours
Jesus shows us that surrender is not denying what we feel or desire. It is honestly bringing everything to the Father, choosing His will above our own, depending on Him through prayer, and then walking forward in obedience. Ask Yourself - When pressure comes, do I depend on myself or go to the Father in prayer? - Can I honestly tell God what I want while still surrendering the outcome to His will? - When sorrow makes me tired or discouraged, do I withdraw from God or draw closer to Him? - Is there something I already know God is asking me to obey, but my own will is resisting? “Surrender says, ‘Father, this is what I want—but I trust what You want more,’ and then gets up and walks in obedience.”

Yes! Surrender is something I struggle with. “But, but, but…God I want ________” Thank you for the encouragement and the spiritual spanking 🤣
Luke 22:31–38 — Tested, Restored, and Strengthened
Jesus knows our weaknesses before we do. Peter would fail, but Jesus had already prayed for him and prepared a path of repentance, restoration, and purpose. Our confidence must rest in Christ rather than ourselves. Ask Yourself - Am I depending on Jesus, or have I become confident in my own ability to stand? - When God reveals weakness in me, do I defend myself or allow Him to change me? - When I stumble, do I run away in shame or turn back to Jesus? - How can God use what He has taught me through my own struggles to strengthen someone else? “My confidence is not that I will never stumble, but that I will keep turning to Jesus, depending on Him, and allowing Him to strengthen me so I can strengthen others.”

AMEN! Thank you for this!
Luke 17:11-19 It’s not just about...
It’s not just about receiving from God—it’s about returning to Him. Ask Yourself: - Do I respond quickly when God speaks? - Do I recognize what He’s done—or move on? - Do I return to Him with gratitude? - Am I seeking what He gives—or Him? Obedience brings breakthrough—but gratitude brings you back into relationship and deeper wholeness. “Move when God speaks—and don’t forget to return and honor Him.”

Are you reading my mail. Your posts have been directly speaking to me. Thank you!
Luke 18:9–14 God responds...
God responds to humility and honesty—not performance or comparison. Ask Yourself: - Do I ever compare my walk with others? - Am I trying to “sound right” or be real with God? - Do I come to Him honestly, or do I present a version of myself? - Is my confidence in what I do—or in who He is? “Come to God real and humble—He responds to the heart, not the performance.”

Powerful thank you!
Luke 8:16–21 The Word you...
“The Word you receive becomes the light you reveal—if you choose to live it.” Am I hiding what God has done in me, or allowing it to shine? How am I responding to what God has been teaching me lately? “Hearing the Word makes you informed—living it makes you transformed.”
