Olympic Medalists, Super Bowl Winners, & Kudos to PFL
Thought I'd share a couple of 🚨limiting beliefs🚨, with resulting lessons, this past week for my podcast "Architects of Discipline": 1️⃣ Feeling that I needed to 'stay in my lane' and talk to people who were near audience size / 'level' When John asked me "Why?", I knew immediately that I was limiting myself. My team pivoted to shooting more shots, and we landed a guest with 110k followers who coaches MLB players, college players, and elite individuals. We have since booked an Olympic Silver Medalist! Find the interesting people in your niche and go after them. 2️⃣ Asking for help It finally hit me - People all around you are dying to help you, just as you are dying to help other people (if you don't feel this way, I encourage you to assess your beliefs about serving others). The trick is to have something in mind to ask for help on. Be "greedy", ask for the MOST important thing you need right now. I asked for help, and am being referred a Super Bowl Winner turned Performance Coach for it (fingers crossed on this one) 3️⃣ Kudos Big thanks to John & Rachel for the Office Hours last week! They sat down, listened to Kael & I's current constraints, and dedicated their time to helping us think through our next steps with more clarity. It was business therapy more than podcasting advice, so I recommend you hear them out for more than just podcasting ☺️
