Dear Skool Gamers, If you’ve been following my professional journey lately, you might have noticed that I’ve been pulled in many exciting directions. Each new opportunity has been deeply fulfilling, but it’s also made it harder to give this community the time and attention it truly deserves. I take full responsibility for the dip in engagement, and I want to thank each and every one of you for your contributions, your energy, and your support along the way. With a heavy heart, I want to let you know that this community will soon be archived. I don’t have an exact date yet, it will depend on how things go, but I wanted to give you all a heads-up so no one is caught by surprise. There may be one more related announcement before the official closure, or I might share updates via email later on, so please keep an eye out in either case. Thank you again for being part of this journey. It’s been a genuine pleasure building this space with you. Rob - Profesor Game

8 Years of Professor Game!
Hey hey! 💜 We just hit a huge milestone: 8 years and 420 episodes of the Professor Game Podcast! 🥳 From recording in a hospital room to becoming the #1 gamification podcast in the world, this journey has been powered by one thing above all: consistency. Your support, feedback, and energy have made this community what it is today: curious, creative, and unstoppable. 🙌 I’d love to hear from you 👇 ➡️ What’s one lesson you’ve taken from the podcast or this community that’s helped you level up your own engagement strategy? Let’s keep playing, learning, and growing together. 💪

Congrats that's amazing! I've taken away many things from this community and the podcast. I've become very motivated to understand and apply gamification in my own career in teaching. This in turn has impacted my students' practice habits as I try to gamify the process of learning an instrument in an elementary school. Thanks for keeping ME engaged to continue to learn more!
Games in a classroom
I read something in a team meeting this week (at the elementary school I teach in) presented by our administrators talking about games/competition in the classroom causing stress and anxiety in students. I’m curious of people’s thoughts on the negative side effects of gamification in the classroom…..

@Roger Peters I totally agree. I think they’re missing the point. It was from a behavior management initiative which also includes a short game as a warm up, so I was very confused….i pushed back
