Just wanted to add this for anyone thinking about how heat really hits the bottom line: NIOSH and OSHA data show heat can cut work output by 10–40%. If one worker loses just 2 hours of productivity in a day, that’s over $60 gone — not including the cost of mistakes or heat-related slowdowns. Add in even one minor incident needing first aid or a short break, and the costs compound fast. That’s why safety professionals cite a $250–$1,500/day impact window per overheated worker. These aren’t hypothetical numbers — they show up every day on the floor.

@Braeden Ostepchuk Appreciate the kind words, Braeden — and I’ll be honest, seeing Kühler take occupational heat seriously has lit a whole new fire under me. That ILO stat you dropped is wild — $2.4 trillion in lost productivity and 80 million jobs? That’s not just economic impact — that’s systemic fatigue. When the cost of heat is this high, cooling becomes a productivity tool, a health intervention, and a safety protocol all in one. A module focused on industrial application would be powerful. Even just translating the 0th Law concepts into trades language — and giving safety leads, HR reps, or crew bosses an actionable model to implement — would help this scale fast. I’d be more than willing to help shape that with real field insights if the time comes. Thanks again for leading this mission. Honored to play a role in it. – Justin
