I have had this client for some while - so not sure why I waited to do this. I did a review re-reactivation and got her 65 new reviews. I also did local SEO to her Site... anyway, this stuff certainly works.

Thats awesome Shane thanks for sharing man, yeah having the proper structure on the website is crucial. I have noticed you want it to mimic what the GBP shows as well, this is kind of like the "1-2 punch" from what I have seen across the board. I ranked a dance studio pretty quickly with this method, I always try to get the website structure setup correctly first, then page speed, then optimize the GBP with frequency being the main goal as far as updates, posts, reviews, etc. goes. Also pushing those new edits through GSC for indexing will speed up the monthly bot crawls.
Quick question when onboarding a new client!
Hey everyone, almost finished up with the course here and my brain is melting trying to figure this out. Phone numbers for clients, how are you guys getting these numbers active to a brand new client fast? I know Clay said in the course to use GHL phone numbers as of 12/09/25 but I was on a support call with GHL earlier and they said I have to individually verify each phone number for each sub account with all of the customers personal information, including the CP 575 of course. Lady from GHL told me everything for A2P changed in February, not sure whats current and whats not and figured I would ask. Does anyone have a video, or can anyone show me exactly what you do when you set up a new client these days? Would really love to see the process or hear how you can set up a new client within a couple hours and have their phone number requesting reviews within that time period. I have searched both communities as well as YT and everything on the topic appears to be from last year unfortunately. As always any and all help is greatly appreciated, thanks everyone! TLDR : Whats the current process for getting new customers a phone number to request reviews from?

**Update** - did some research over the weekend, looks like the way some guys are doing it currently is with a micro site in GHL with the A2P chat widget for verification, this process still takes 2-3 days to verify a toll free number to the sub account from what i'm seeing. Have a meeting with my GHL success guy today for clarity, hoping to figure this out this week to start using this for a few of my existing customers. @Clay Lawrence , can you shed some light on this at Wednesdays meeting?

@Mahmoud Alkayat wouldn’t that flag the approval process though if you’re changing all of the business information? Also are you using local or toll free numbers?
A2P Verification
I am stuck on a question. When I get a client onboarded then do they have to wait 3-5 days for A2P verification to be completed to send out review requests or is there any alternate to start sending review requests quickly? I saw on reviewharvest website that the setup takes 30 mins and clients start getting reviews in 24 hours. how is that possible as A2P verification takes 3-5 days?

Hey man did you figure this out yet? Curious what you came up with, in the same boat. I see some people make the sub account with microsite for A2P and then just get a toll free GHL number but verification is still 2-3 days. I was told textgrid could have something like 49 numbers verified instantly and assigning them to sub accounts was easy. Really curious to know what everyone else is doing currently, especially the guys who are onboarding customers weekly.

Google Re-Verification!?!
A new customer added me to their Google Business Profile - a 5 year old profile with Recent Reviews - When I did that - It automatically triggers Google to require a business review. You can't post, respond to reviews and the reviews will not come into GHL. You can still get reviews but the GBP is largely un-useable. A fellow marketer had this issue as well - She got the logo printed on a transparent sheet adhesive sheet and posted it to the door for the review video. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCRR8WPV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Anyone run into this? How did you solve. I am not happy this is completely un-necesary.

Hey Shane, yeah it seems like Google is changing their terms constantly and I’m seeing it as well. Much more strict guidelines when verifying too and the horror stories I have heard from people trying over and over again with no success and no support from Google is terrible. About a year ago I had an issue with one and did everything I could, ended up hiring someone on Fiverr to handle it for me and whatever they did worked. Might be worth a shot, hope this helps!
