Great to have you with us Brielle! 😁What’s your favourite wine style? And do you have any hobbies except drinking delicious wine haha!?
Welcome 🙌
Give an intro of yourself with 2 things… 1. Your favourite wine style 2. A hobby of yours outside of wine

@Jan Mirkowski Awesome! 👍 It’s great to hear English wine starting to do well and compete against the traditional countries!

@Evelyn Sequeira oh yes California has some great full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon wines! Plants can make everything look prettier 👌 Maybe you could even grow some grape vines! I saw a garden here in the UK where they started growing them on their fence - no idea if the wine is any good though, I suspect not haha 🤪
Happy New Year!!
Wishing everyone a year of happiness and prosperity and most of all great tasting wines! 🙌 🤪🍷
New Year Fizz! 🍾
What fizz are you having to celebrate New Year? Champagne or something else?

For those who are a bit more budget conscious… 🤪 I would suggest a ‘Cremant’ - they’re made using the ‘Champagne method’ which means the fermentation is done in the individual bottle, rather than a big batch in stainless steel tanks like a lot of lower-end Proseccos. This provides more subtle and refined flavours, as well as finer bubbles. Cremants are generally about half the price of NV champagne, so can be good value 👍 if you get a Cremant de Bourgogne, the grapes are from the Burgudy region - only a short distance from the Champagne region, so probably about as close as you can get get to Champagne without the price tag 👌

If you really want Champagne, but aren’t so keen on the bone-dry style, I would suggest Moët Imperial Nectar - it’s a demi-sec style which means it has slightly more residual sugar. It’s not overly sweet, but there’s just enough sugar to soften the dryness. It’s delicious and probably my favourite NV Champagne! 🥂

Awesome thanks for sharing Yiannis! There are some great wines from Santorini and I’m sure yours are one of them! Do you export to the UK?

Well good luck with everything Yiannis! What is your project that you mentioned? Is it organising some new vineyards?
