I wanted to quickly share something
I wanted to quickly share something that may be relevant to some of you. We help charities, membership groups and corporate businesses launch fully managed on-demand merchandise stores — removing the need for bulk stock purchasing or warehousing commitments. Products are only produced when ordered, which reduces waste, lowers risk and avoids tying budget into surplus inventory. What’s been particularly effective is how flexible the model is for: * fundraising * staff onboarding/gifting * campaigns and events * distributed teams/networks * ongoing brand engagement We manage the production, customer service and fulfilment too, so it stays very low maintenance internally for any organisation. A couple of live examples: • https://shop.exp.uk.com/ • https://shop.missingpeople.org.uk I’d be really interested to hear whether merchandise is something any of you already have explored, or whether a more agile on-demand approach could be useful. Best regards

I wouldn't mind a chat too. @Glenn Robinson It would be for a bit further down the line, and numbers of things quite small. But definitely interested to find out a little bit more. It would be for events and retreats and potentially open days at a showhouse

Where should we go next with a business show?

Somewhere in the shire would be good, covering a wide geographical area . If you don't have a Moray one in Elgin maybe a North Aberdeenshire and Moray one in the Keith or Huntly area -are any of the distilleries with venue spaces members ?? And/or a South Aberdeenshire and Angus one if there isn't traction yet for City of Dundee ?

@Andrew Charlton Fair enough. Appreciate the amount of organisation that goes in and with stand holders, larger centres of population are better and stick with a model you know works. I've not been to a Hashtag business show yet and they may be a lot larger than I was imagining. Will definitely need to get myself along to the next one !
A wee favour
Stepping out of my comfort zone here. I am a finalist for Female Founder Awards Scotland in the Real Estate category and the last bit for deciding the winner is a public vote. Although a lot of you don't know me (yet) my small housing development is what's known as a 'disruptive' and purchaser de -risked, custom build model. I have got the planning, access and services sorted for a master planned community of 19 plots called Strawberry Grange in the suburbs of Aberdeen. Purchasers then have the architect to help them design their bespoke home, within a design code and the contractor builds it for them so they are not trying to manage everything themselves. This model allows for great LBTT and VAT savings as well. If you feel this is a good way to build a new home I'd be really grateful for your vote. The link to vote is www.femalefounderawards.co.uk/scotland Scroll to the industry section and down to the "Real Estate" category. 10 names will appear. Click on "Julie Nairn - Strawberry Grange" and press the vote button. There is no sign up or email address required. Voting closes on 25th May. Many thanks for your help.
