Offline for health issues until mid June
I apologize for delaying this notification in May. A major health issue popped up and seems to be consuming my life until after surgery. Hope to be with you all again around the second week of June

@Monica Wright agreed! "Where two or three are gathered, there I am in the midst..." pretty sure gathering virtually like this counts!! πŸ˜ƒ
To Honor and Celebrate Good Friday
It bothers me that I have never Honored or Celebrated Good Friday. This ordinary Man suffered brutal trauma and suffering and shame and humiliation... He freely chose this terrifying torture and death ..... for what? In His own last living words, FORGIVE her, Father, she knows not ..." Honor GOOD Friday Forgive YOUR Unforgiveable Celebrate TRUE Freedom πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Share the Victory Here πŸ™Œ

Beautiful heart @Val Jewell . I remember a powerful lesson I learned on the subject of forgiveness, when I was finding it hard to give to someone who hurt me. "If you choose to not forgive, it's the equivalent of saying what I did on the cross wasn't enough." Those are the words I felt impressed on my heart. Then the next thought quickly followed, "If I don't believe what Christ did was enough...then it would mean my faith was meaningless." Well THAT is not an option...so very quickly chose to forgive - with much grattiude. If you aren't familiar with the song, listen to Charity Gayle sing "Thank You Jesus for the Blood Applied..." - powerful!

JESUS πŸ˜… LAUGHED
Pretty sure Jesus would laugh at this one!
"The Bible says we come from dust, and when we die, we return to dust...so that's why I don't dust. It might be someone I know!"

For Such a Time as This πŸ’Ž
I host a private Facebook group where people of Faith share crafted prayer, songs, poems, and other heartfelt words and images that are gently intended to support others through a troubled season. During a very brutal season, I learned that I live by hours and minutes not by days and that every day has at least one uplifting hour or pleasurable hour or funny hour or encouraging hour. πŸ€” I learned to release the phrase "bad day" from my vocabulary .... there were just some days that had many hours of crushing weight and tears. I learned a great deal about how God feels in those hours. I learned to set boundaries on disabling feelings; and when they started demanding too much of my time, I made them calendar an appointment. Often, I invited my very excellent counselor. She listens with her heart ❀️, reminds me to be extra kind to my body, sees humor in hopeless situations, and reminds me to stay curious and to find the Divine Gem πŸ’Ž that is always 🎁 present. I hope most of this is helpful when this Season arrives for you. Your helpful responses are most wecome ....

I love that Val! to "find the Divine Gem..." Love also the removal from the vocabulary "bad day". When hard things have happened and seem insurmountable in the moment I've added to my vocab "I'm just going to go deeper into you God." Let me say I've gone so much deeper into God on account of hard things that happened that they had to send out a search party!
HOW CAN 😨 FEAR BE 😁FUNNY?
It seems that truly intense experiences set us up for future challenges for "befriending fear"? This is a conversation in progress through which I hope to collect and to share experiences and Divine strategies that move the needle from chaos to curious and from curious to comical. Wouldn't it be great if we could teach our kids and grandkids to laugh at this lifelong monster? I πŸ€” it would be worthwhile to bring the conversation into the SKOOL chat call this week! I'll leave the agenda loose, however, in case God has other πŸ’‘ ideas. Hope to hear your lovely voices this Friday if you are available πŸ«‚ πŸ€— val

@Monica Wright what a great example Monica! Sometimes seeing something from a different perspective happens when circumstances give us no choice. But once we are open to it...well I reckon we level up to a whole new if livin! Noticing new things. Experiencing new things.
