Next Gift Giving this Saturday 3/21/26
The next round of free gifts is coming up this Saturday morning. I try to include things that will appeal to a lot of different people with different interests. There is an interactive map that details all the different places in the world where these treasures are traveling. Will yours be next? #1. Children's stories from Dickens TINY TIM and other stories. Published by Raphael Tuck & Sons and based on my research, it was published in 1914 or 1915 (date is not in book). It has several color illustrations, which was expensive at that time. #2. Hand Carved Rugged Man. I acquired this from the estate of a man that collected "all things hand-carved". He had many well-known artists, but this one stood out to me. He stands about 11.75" tall! #3. Guitar strings & picks. I got the picks for craft projects that never got done. The strings came from an estate. #4. Horse Themed Wind Chimes. They feel like pewter. #5. FENTON Art Glass 4.5" Bows and Swags bell. Green opalescent. #6. Two MICKEY MOUSE French magazines. 1960 & 1961. These are big! About 9" x 12" #7. Russ Troll. No need to elaborate on this one. He stands about 4.5" high without the hair. #8. '70 'Cuda. (2002 Muscle Machines) Iconic American muscle car produced by Chrysler from 1964 to 1974. Renowned for its aggressive styling and powerful engines—especially the 1970–1971 models—it featured legendary options like the 426 HEMI. #9. 3 Vintage Brooches, All Rose Themed #10. Elvis stamp framed. It's about 2.5" x 3" COME ON IN AND CAST YOUR VOTE...get your name included on the wheel of gifts! https://www.skool.com/ricochet-4274

Spring Break Update: Wine Spilled, Poop Escaped 😂
Hi friends… I have to tell you what happened because I’m still laughing 😂 So we’re on spring break right now, and we’ll be traveling Wednesday through Sunday. At the beginning of the week, the twins (9.5 years old) got a little job — walking and playing with our sweet neighbor’s dog. His name is Blue. Now, you know we live in Florida, so it should be warm… well, it has definitely NOT been warm since Sunday. And on Sunday and Monday, we had really strong winds… so here’s the story… On Sunday, we went to take care of Blue. I went with the twins because, of course, I’m not letting them do that alone. It was the evening walk/playtime. I was relaxing in their backyard — we’re very close with these neighbors, so I felt comfortable — and I poured myself a glass of wine while the kids were playing with Blue. I even brought the bottle because I figured they’d be busy for at least an hour. So, finally relaxing with my wine… and Blue decides he wants to be involved too. Knocks it over. Half the bottle gone. At least it happened outside, so I was not crying 😅 Then Monday morning… we find 💩 on the floor. We cleaned it up, put it in a bag — things happen — and I told Nathan to find and throw it in the garage bin, either inside or outside. He disappears… and then comes back… still holding it. Just casually walking around like this is completely normal. So I’m like nope. He tells me he couldn’t find the bin, so I told him to put it outside by the door and we’ll take it later. Yes, it was very windy, but the garage entry is kind of in a nook, so I didn’t think anything of it. We finish everything with Blue, about to leave…and the bag is gone. Gone!!! Like, the poop was not there! Now we’re like… did the wind actually take it?? So we are trying to look for it around there — we get in the car and start driving around the neighborhood…looking for a bag of poop. Because apparently this is our life now. Checking under cars, around the house… nothing. We finally give up and start driving home…and then we see a brown bag flying down the street.

That's hilarious. I can picture in my head a kid running down the road in the windy rain chasing a bag of poo.
