The truth is, work has been a little overwhelming lately. Within the last month or two, both of my bosses left the company, and I’ve been filling the gap until we can hire replacements. There were several nights this past week where I didn’t leave the office until after 9:30 PM, which unfortunately hasn’t left much time or energy for recording course videos. On top of that, I also help a CPA practice on the side, so it’s been a busy season all around. The good news is that this is temporary, and I expect things to settle down over the next few weeks. In the meantime, I’m continuing to make progress whenever I can. In fact, have you ever heard of accountants or bookkeepers doing “clean-up” work before? That’s them cleaning up the wrong stuff put in the software. Learn accounting fundamentals first. There are a ton of courses out there teaching you how to learn the software! They even have their own certifications. But I hardly discuss how to use the software in this community because that’s the easy part. If that’s all you need - then take 2 weeks, go get a certification, and start getting clients NOW! You don’t need me or this community for that. You can do accounting work that isn’t bookkeeping. You can’t do bookkeeping work absent from accounting.
