🎉 Happy Superfriends Founder's Day! 🥳
Today is very special for 2 reasons. First, today is the official launch of our Superfriends Prophetic Community here in Skool. Second, it’s the anniversary of the origin of the idea for this unique community—when our Founders, Tiffany, Rodney, and I, first teamed up to create a prophetic community exactly one year ago today! In honor of “Founder’s Day” and the first official “Superfriends Day,” I am going to share my Origin Story. And I want to encourage the other founders, @Rodney Graham and @Tiffany Matthews, to share their Origin Stories as well. As you may already know, every superhero has an “origin story” that explains how they became who they are. For our Superfriends community, we would like new members to post their Origin Story—how they became a member of our community. We want to know what led you to us and what was going on in your life that caused you to want to seek more authentic, fulfilling, and lasting friendships. We want to hear from each new member as they join our community! So be sure to share YOUR Origin Story with us when you become a new Superfriend. So without further ado, here is my Origin Story… Throughout my youth and young adulthood, I always seemed to have a best friend or a couple of good friends. But later in life, having a solid couple of friends and girlfriends—let alone Godly friends—became close to impossible. I did all the things you’re supposed to do. ”He who has friends shows themselves friendly,” I would hear that all the time. I did that. I sowed. I showed up and supported friends in their new business endeavors, baby showers, weddings. I went to dinner and drinks. I was their shoulder to cry on—an endless, unofficial therapist, babysitter, marriage counselor, run-around-town-with-you-as-you-run-errands type of friend. But there was little to no reciprocation. And that’s just superficial stuff. When it comes to someone being able to pray heaven down or cast a devil out… crickets. When it came to someone showing up to the hospital when you’re in the ER... nothing. Your graduation for your Master's degree? Silence. And don’t be someone who is prophetic too… complete isolation.
