@Christie Maxey Christie, you're not wrong — visibility matters. But the thing I see trip up a lot of first-time owners is confusing enthusiasm and positive feedback with validated demand. People saying "love the idea" and people actually walking in and spending money are very different things. What does your current business case look like — have you modeled out your break-even, projected covers, average spend? That's the number I'd want to see before committing serious time to the marketing build-out.

The best place to start is getting clear on your business case before anything else — location, concept, numbers. A lot of people skip that part and it costs them later. If you haven't already, dig into the Business Case Course here in the community — it'll give you a real foundation to work from.
