Notes from our first global call & what’s next
Hi Stewards, We had our first monthly call yesterday, and enjoyed a thoughtful conversation around our shared values, the importance of sanctuaries and positive activism, and the projects we’re starting to build together. Thank you to those who were able to join. Michel suggested meeting more frequently, which we're happy to do, so moving forward, we’ll shift to a fortnightly rhythm to stay connected and maintain momentum, without adding pressure. These calls will now run as VeganMen Global Call and are already available here in the Calendar tab. Also, welcome to all new Stewards who have recently joined this space. We’re now represented across around 20 countries, bringing together diverse perspectives, cultures, and experiences. We're committed to taking responsibility, action, and living in alignment with our values for the animals, the planet, and future generations. With that in mind, we’re beginning work on the following initiatives: - WorldSanctuaries.org - A global platform to help people find and support animal sanctuaries, anywhere in the world - PlantChapters.org - A network of local chapters focused on education and implementing plant-based systems at the community level. - SystemicExploitation.org - An in-development educational resource documenting how animal exploitation is systemised across industries and countries. - VeganMenSummit.org - Our first global gathering is planned as a camp at an animal sanctuary, most likely in the UK. We’ll be supporting and volunteering at a selected sanctuary. More details soon, but you can already register your interest via the website.
Would be great to hear how people here became vegan and what you are currently up to...🛡️
I went vegan after watching a vegan YouTuber talk about animals as sentient beings, and ask some hypotheticals. Currently, I do activism through various organisations, campaign work and public education (ethics, nutrition, science). Based in London.

@Jim O'Quinn interesting story, never heard someone going vegan after listening to Tony Robbins. Part of personal transformation has to do with health so that makes total sense. Thanks for sharing that. I remember something from him regarding the heart, being a powerful, almost unknown part of our body that has a more important role, like an emotional, spiritual brain. That’s the way I understood it anyway. He specifically said that there’s no heart cancer for a reason, which never occurred to me. I love his goal setting approach as well. Thanks again, man. Look forward to chatting soon. And welcome once again.

@Mark Abraham Hey Mark, thanks again for engaging with the framework, and for taking action on those points. Lately, my focus has been on creating the conditions for community to form around this work, supporting education, local action, and sanctuary support. All of that under VeganMen. I’ll be sharing more about this soon. I’ve noticed the Multispecies Society idea resonates with people, even if the time horizon feels massive. For me, the key is to keep doing what we can, consistently and responsibly, because there isn’t really another option. Thanks again, man. Hope you can make it to this week’s meeting.
Introducing VeganMen Monthly
Hi Stewards, We’re starting a new monthly gathering for the VeganMen community. VeganMen Monthly will take place on the last Thursday of every month at 8:00 pm London time, starting this month. Please see the event in the calendar section within Skool. In this first session, we’ll: • Share the projects and events we’re focusing on this year • Revisit our core values • Reflect on what veganism means to us as men • Explore the impact we want to create by changing the culture around masculinity This will be a great space for conversation, alignment, and connection. Finally, a warm welcome to all new stewards who have recently joined VeganMen. We look forward to connecting and sharing experiences together.

@Jim O'Quinn Yes, there will be 👍
Hello from Düsseldorf, Germany
Hi vegan men, I'm delighted to be part of this group and to be able to connect with others. I've committed myself to helping planet Earth and its inhabitants, and as a result, I've been able to develop an expanded vegan consciousness. I receive help from the universe for my tasks. I'm connected to the field of pure consciousness within the universe. This field contains the truth and knowledge of the universe. I think I'm actually a vegan superhero because I can perceive the truth and knowledge of the universe through my extremely sensitive senses. I've already written many texts in German and now want to publish them in the form of two books. I'd also love to have a film made about my work and my legacy. After all, I am a real, but somewhat unconventional, vegan superhero.

Loved this, thanks for sharing it Michael! Welcome once again!
Welcome, New Stewards
We’ve recently welcomed new Stewards into the Vegan Men global community, with men joining from cities including Brooklyn, Montclair, London, Warrington, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Tel Aviv, Boston, and Phoenix. Some haven’t joined this space yet, but it’s encouraging to see this standard resonating across cultures and geographies. The RSVP email for our January meeting with Dr Michael Klaper will be sent within the next few days and will also be available here in the Skool calendar. Please keep an eye out if you’d like to attend. We’re also planning a February event with Dr Sailesh Rao — systems thinker, founder of Climate Healers, and a long-time advocate for addressing animal agriculture as a root driver of ecological and social collapse. More details soon. You can learn more about his work here: Climate Healers – Dr Sailesh Rao. Finally, the first issue of Vegan Men Magazine is on track to be released at the end of January. It will be short, intentional, and focused on ideas and stories worth carrying forward. If you’re celebrating today, Merry Vegan Christmas. And if not, we hope you’re finding some rest and clarity wherever you are.
