I need a team member
Hi technocrats, I’m a product designer and AI/ML enthusiast building a new kind of AI-powered design tool, imagine uploading a design and the AI instantly reworking it with fresh layouts, colors, and text. The prototype is alive, but the vision is bigger than I can build alone. I’m looking for someone who’s fully into computer vision + machine learning to join me on this journey (not totally building from scratch). Even if you’ve only got one year of experience, (not a barrier), since you’re hungry to learn, experiment, and work to build something groundbreaking, we could be a great team. I'd be happy to connect with you and see how far we can take it together.

How to Find, Build, and Deliver GenAI Projects
Hey everyone, I just dropped a brand new video covering the entire process that we use inside Datalumina to find, build, and deliver GenAI projects. Make sure to give it a watch and let me know what you want me to cover next!

Waoh... Nice video @Dave Ebbelaar Thank you so much. Meanwhile the process you took in the video left me with the question, "can we use this process, to build an Automation, that will work like a sales person, get qualified leads, and also grade them.
Looking for Collaboration
Hi everyone, trust you are all doing fine. I have a solution in my head. It's all about a web app, that can be use to generate designs. It's going to be a specific niche, not generating all kinds of design. Just as AI can generate images with prompts, I think Ai can be trained to learn how this specific design is been created, and can make a replicate of that design using the details that our users will be providing... If you have used Wix AI web builder before. You just have to input few details, and boooomm! you have a good website. I'm so confused, and don't know how to go about this project. Does anyone know what roadmap I can follow, or maybe we can rub minds together to build this product. I will be expecting your responses, because it means a lot to me. Thank you ❤️

@Ana Crosatto Thomsen Thank you so much for your response. Yeah, I'm only sighting Wix as an example in the case of generating web designs. I don't have experience in programming, but it it's the only way out, I wouldn't have any option than to start learning. On the other hand if there's a no-code option, I would love to explore and see how it's going to be. From my background, I've spent like 5 years + working as a graphic designer for religious organizations, so I understand the struggles they always have in conveying their programs and events to their customers. So. I think, having a web app, that would help anyone, anywhere to generate their designs, instead of paying designers, but with a monthly fee, they can get it from the Web app. So I don't know how to go about it, it not just generating images like dalle, but must be in according to what customers input.
Can I join your team?

I'm currently building my career, and would love to work with a real-world team. You can check my works and style here: www.dribbble.com/brandesigna_designs Let me know if I'm a good fit for your company. I'm looking for a growing team, and can't wait to see what we can achieve together. Love you all ❤️ Josiah.

Is Freelancing Right for You?
Naval Ravikant, co-founder of AngelList and well respected entrepreneur and investor, thinks that we are heading towards a future where we will all be freelancers again. He offers valuable insights into why this shift might occur Factors such as the rise of remote work, the emergence of freelance platforms, advancements in AI technology, and evolving cultural norms are all contributing to the gradual transformation of the work landscape, working together to reduce external transaction costs. Naval also makes a fair point about humans not being built to work consistently all the time and still be expected to remain productive. Quality of work output is not linear. He describes how the "modern knowledge worker athlete" is most productive. Which involves training hard, sprinting, resting, and reassessing, then using the feedback loop to prepare for the next sprint. Similar to how freelancers move from project to project. If you purely look at the numbers, Naval might be onto something here. According to a recent study by Upwork: - Freelancers made a significant contribution of $1.27 trillion to the U.S. economy in annual earnings in 2023, which is a substantial increase from $713 billion in 2014. - The study also revealed that the number of professionals freelancing has risen to nearly 64 million Americans, accounting for 38% of the U.S. workforce. This marks a noticeable growth from 34% in 2014. I've been freelancing for a decade, so I might be a bit biased, but I agree with Naval's perspective on the future of work. What do you think? Will the number of freelancers continue to increase in the future? And have you ever considered freelancing? What's holding you back? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
