Kumamoto has alway been my hidden gem in Japan. It is such a beautiful area. I have been lucky enough to go a few times . 10 years ago it was devastated by a (7) earthquake. And again this week another 7. Both times with loss of life. My heart goes out to the families that have lost loved ones. Thankfully my friends are safe. After shocks are still happening. My thoughts are with you Kumamoto. ❤️

And I love Japanese literature, such as Kokoro by Natsume Soseki. Have you read any Japanese novels? I also really enjoyed Cowboy Bebop when it came out! Not the live action Netflix version!
