@שיר ציטרין Hi Shir, thanks for sharing! Highly recommend the Sumo show in Nagoya, also for nature I highly recommend checking out Hakone, Shizouka and Mt Fuji! Are you travelling with friends & family?
what's your biggest problem with travelling japan? 🤔
Comment here, and our community will help you solve the problem whether it's accommodation troubles, how to make/save money, where to stay in Japan and tourist traps to avoid! - Also attached the Free Ultimate Tokyo Travel Guide pdf, just in case you haven't gotten it yet!

@Karina Arenas I can definitely recommend you some spots that will be comfortable and affordable for you and your partner. For Tokyo I recommend staying Asakusa, Ueno or Nerima. These places are more north of Tokyo and are away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya and Shinjuku. Also the prices for hotels are way better here! Also download the Agoda app before you travel to Japan! Let me know if you have more questions and I’ll send you the tourist trap pdf this week! (Just finishing it up!)

@Karina Arenas Sure! The private onsens are amazing in Japan and actually there are some hotels who offer a free private onsen for couples. Personally I went to YuYu Hotel in Hakone, which had an included private onsen and only cost 10,000 Yen a night. Here's a decent hotel I found in Osaka, which is about 20,000 Yen a night (if you book this month) and gives you easy access to the centre city of Osaka (Dotonbori). The private onsen is great but it does cost an additional 4000Yen for 60minutes for 2 people which isn't too bad. Also happy to answer any further questions you have in a free 1-on-1 call with me e.g. Places you guys should visit, tourist traps to avoid and more! Book it here-> https://calendly.com/gamifylife/60-minute-call Hotel name: Osaka Hinode Hotel Nipponbashi Link: https://hinode-h.com/?adults=2&checkin=2025%2F06%2F10&checkout=2025%2F06%2F11&code=f026f3709e637e196bf997b3753e34c3&google_promo_code&google_site=localuniversal&hotel_plan_code=18318598&is_including_occupied=true&locale=en&mcp_currency=AUD&metasearch_source=google_hotel_ads&price_displayed_total=198.08&room_type_code=25&rooms=%5B%7B%22adults%22%3A2%7D%5D&tripla_booking_widget_open=search

Hi everyone ! My name is Talal a new member to the Japan Quest community . I've been to Japan once before and had the chance to visit some amazing places : Tokyo , Kyoto ,Osaka ,Nara and Mount Fuji . I'm planning another trip this July . I know it's not the ideal time to visit (weather-wise) cause my last visit was in August and I got really surprised by how humid and hot the weather can be in Japan 🤣, but it's the only time I can travel so I am trying to make the most of it ! I joined this community to learn from your experiences and get help planning my next travel to Japan .

@Talal Al I haven’t taken the test too personally as I’m not looking to work in Japan. btw there are some really good Japanese language school options to get a long stay visa here in Japan. Do you have a drivers license in your own country and how long would you want to stay in Japan?

@Talal Al Still two weeks in Japan is plenty for a first trip! Able to see Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and another place (e.g. Mt Fuji, or Hokkaido) mainly just depends on your budget. I also hope to see Korea in the future but right now I'm completely focused on helping Japan travellers and exploring all parts of Japan myself! Also I'm actually offering to create an itinerary completely for you (free of charge) for members of the JapanQuest community. Are you interested and do you prefer it to be done over a 1:1 call or messages?

Concerts queries
Hi guys, this will be my first time in Japan and I want to go to a concert, do I need certain things to be able to buy the tickets? For example a Japanese number, a certain credit card or an address.

Hey David for concerts in Japan you usually just need to bring your passport or driving license for ID when entering. Other than that it's good to keep in mind that you may need to store bags/luggage before hand or even at a concert they might have a cloakroom to store your bags. (Also can do this before hand at a station coin locker or hotel desk) Lastly it's good to respect the rules and not be too loud as Japanese crowds are usually polite and more tame. Because your a new member, I'm happy to jump on a free 45 minute 1 on 1 call with you to help plan out your Japan trip and fix any problems/questions you have :)
