Of course this video is cool and interesting and all that, but my biggest takeaway from seeing the inside of a KDP warehouse is that WE GET TO USE THESE MULTI-MILLION DOLLARS PRINTERS FOR FREE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KjPcw64Izg Seriously, we get to use these state-of-the-art printers for our books and we don't have to pay anything. It's so good and I think that a lot of people are missing out and taking this for granted. Sure, writing books and marketing books and promoting books is still hard work. But imagine how much harder it would be if we also needed to pay for all of the things that Amazon and KDP let us use FOR FREE? Just a moment of perspective from me. Hope you're enjoying your Friday! But why would you want a nice, clean, short link for ALL of your books on Amazon? Because it looks better on business cards, social media links, book covers, and in emails. To do this, first create your Amazon Author Page at author.amazon.com and then view your page. In the URL, you'll find a unique number. I'm calling it an Author ASIN. If you copy it and search for this ASIN on Amazon, the search results will always be the books you'll tied to your Amazon Author Page. You can make this link as short as possible by using the format I've used abaove and just use YOUR Amazon ASIN instead. Anyone else know about this already?
