I'm looking for different ways to generate shorter term income while Compass and my acting career grow. This can also be a possibility of a third business if it grows. I signed up in Superprof as a Spanish tutor, acting tutor (basic) and bowling. So far I got 2 bowling students from who I also got testimonies and was thinking to partner with a bowling alley to be more active. I'll share the testimonies if you're interested in reading them. I also appreciate those who gave me a testimony to publish on my Compass accounts. If anyone else wants to contribute that way I do appreciate and I'm happy to support you guys as well with a review. I went to see cars for the 20 year anniversary re-release and as the movie finished I was sitting close to a mother and son (in his early 20s) and we started talking. I asked them what their dream was as I've asked when I did cold approaches months back and stopped because I didn't see results. In this month since I first met them, because I had collected her number which I never did with others (big mistake) we kept in touch and in our discovery call she told me how important she believes mentorship is and how people need to learn to be firm in what they want in their lives no matter what others think or do. She loved my program but do to his youngest son being autistic (I've seen bigger cases in which I can't deal with and I'm honest with it) it might have to take a slightly different approach, but she also said after a few conversations that she wants her older son a year older to work with me. Not only that, but she also wanted to recommend me to another program that works with teens and young adults who need the space to express themselves in a non therapeutic space. Had I not talked to anyone this would not have happened. We need to take action no matter the short term results because eventually we'll be in the right place at the right time. That's the type of parent who's teen or young adult should take my program. It was an easy call, the program was very clear to her as she wants both her sons to work with me and the trust was there. The lesson is that keeping cold approaching (which I haven't recorded for socials and might do that at some point when the reason is clear to me) could bring the numbers up. That might've been luck but got the courage because I had cold approached before and teens and young adults deserve clarity as well as adults or even more than adults.
