Great start! Let's work on availability next 🙂 Let's change this to : Availability My calendar fills quickly, especially during weekends and holidays, so I recommend booking in advance to reserve your preferred dates. I maintain a limited number of bookings at a time to ensure each pet receives focused, reliable care. Option 2 — Friendly but Still In-Demand Availability I stay busy caring for pets throughout the week, and my availability can fill quickly. If you're planning ahead for spring, summer, or holidays, feel free to reach out early to reserve your spot! Use your own words but your profile currently reads as pet care is secondary in your life. People book with people that are 100% focused on their pets

I’m still having a hard time getting bookings how can I get any bookings?

You will need to read the manual and decide on a service you want your profile to showcase. Right now if I goto your Rover profile, I dont see a "your dogs will enjoy their daily walks with me" Or "When your pup stays with me, they will feel love and care while you are away" Or "Ill take care of your pets and home like it was my own" Also need to get some friends and family reviews.
Advice on profile and info
Hi everyone! I'm a part time dogwalker and petsitter in the dogs/cats home and wondering about the difference in some of the profile advice and questions for that? I'm not able to do boarding as I have 2 cats and they wouldn't like that. Also looking for advice on my profile as I just moved and limited my area a bit more as I was getting requests that are farther away for me but not many close to me yet. Should i mention the specific areas closest to me in profile? https://www.rover.com/sit/taylow43718

Hi Taylor, First off, thank you for leaving your profile and sharing the link so I could take a look. I appreciate you taking the time to do that. After reviewing it, your qualifications look amazing, and you clearly have strong experience that clients will value. You’ve built a solid foundation, and it shows. One suggestion I’d make is to think about what service you most want to be found for in search. Based on your profile, I’d suggest putting strong emphasis on overnight care along with structured drop-in care. I’d focus on clearly communicating that you are highly organized, show up reliably every time, and take excellent care of clients’ homes exactly the way they want them cared for. Those are powerful selling points, and I’d recommend highlighting them right in the first paragraph of your profile. That way, when someone searches for those services, they immediately recognize that you are exactly the person who provides them. After that opening section, then move into your excellent qualifications and experience. Once clients see that your services match what they’re looking for, they’ll be much more interested in reading about your background and skills. Overall, your profile looks great. I especially like your photos with the dogs — they feel natural and trustworthy — and it’s great to see that you already have some good reviews starting to come in. As far as location goes, it doesn’t hurt to list your location clearly in your service area. But since you’re not boarding at your home, that’s actually one of your superpowers. You have the flexibility to travel to areas with more affluent clients, rather than relying only on clients who live near you. You're off to a strong start, and with a few tweaks to the way your services are presented at the top, I think your profile will become even more effective. Thanks again for sharing it — happy to take another look if you make updates. — Josh

If you have a friends and family that you have watched pets for, make sure they leave you a review!

@Kaitlin Lepage walks can be lower priced but the boarding and in house sits need to be raised. I would say 30 to 35 minimum for boarding and 40 to 50 for in house sits. Walking is a different animal. 20 to 25 should fit your area though that is less my expertise. I find walks to be good supplemental income but not sustainable for sane income.
😊hello
