What’s the best way you’ve found to stay motivated, especially during a “slump.”

Every day you'll be rejected. By your crush. By your family. By your friends. By your colleagues. By society as a whole. Why wouldn't a few stranger reject you? And why does it matter so much? At least we choose these noes. Do you prefer to avoid rejection and forever wonder what if? Or get on with and feel so much stronger after? Which option will help your career and life?

I’ve been in sales for several years now, but I’ve only done warm calling (I worked as a Business Development Specialist and Account Manager for a property management company). I recently started a new position and made over 500 cold calls, but only 1-2 people picked up. With so few responses, I feel like I’m not getting enough opportunities to sharpen my skills. Is this normal, or is there something I should consider changing?
