Hi have both the 14 and 20 inch. I started with the 14 manual cup and upgraded to the 20 auto cup. I also purchase a medusa and the ultra dent stand for it. That way you don’t have to suction it on the car all the time and can cross check a little quicker. The 14 is nice the manual cup is fine you just have to check it more often. The auto cup is great, you can kinda forget about it. The 20 inch gives you a little more view which is nice, and has the flip open side to change lenses quicker and easier. I liked this since I learned on lines and then learned fog. Easier to go back and forth between lenses. The 20 is a bit heavier and has to be stabilized on my stand if it is at the top end of the stand. Also the 20 in is heavier and sometimes sags the line lock. I found that if you tighten down the line lock and spray it with alcohol it sticks better. Hope that helps.

it took a little time. I nursed myself onto it😂. Get another line board and take the lines off of half of the board. You can still use two of the three lights for fog and have lines on about two lights. This way you can adjust the fog for the close and long views. When you are unsure of a feature you can page back and forth to the lines to see it how your mind is used to seeing it and learn the differences. I find myself using fog way more than lines now. I can see more of the fine details in the dent with fog. I do check at the end with lines at times still. It can keep me in check making sure I didn’t miss anything. First getting into fog, I found it easier to push, but I found lines were easier for knocking down. I think because it was easier to see the lines slightly move when knocking down and I couldn’t tell as much in the fog. It was harder for me to gauge how much force to use when tapping down, but after awhile I figured it out. Hope this helps.👍
Marring tips?
Using a vip tip having trouble getting it to not mar the panel from knocking down. No heat on the hood so it’s not real soft. Sand it more aggressively? Starting at 1500 taking to 3000. Any advice is appreciated
Marring tips?

I found it helps to have a cap on it if you are using that tip throughout the repair. The metal on metal seems to me to have more of a tendency to mar. I use the match grade tips most of the time and it tends to keep the marring down. If you have marring try to polish it or use a little rubbing compound when you see the marring. The dead on dent match grade or black plastic with the fine medium and wide tips are great, but they will set ya back about $60. Dent craft has a huge variety in match grade and the tips are about $12 a piece, if that helps.👍
Fuel door pocket
Hi, are there any tips that can be given regarding removing the fuel door pockets. I seem to have a hard time with the clips. I tape and lubricate the edge to reduce/ eliminate marring, but I still have a hard time getting the clips to unclip cleanly.

thw last one I worked on was a VW atlas. It had six clips the upper middle one broke. I seem to have issues with most of them getting the to unclick cleanly. Kinda nerve racking when taking them out.
