The system doesn't want you checking your credit report, properly. It wants you obsessed with your score instead. Here's the mistake I see constantly, over and over and over again. People fixate on their credit score and never once look at their credit report. That's not an accident. It's by design. A score is a single number - easy to obsess over, impossible to challenge. A report is the actual evidence - the CCJs, the Defaults, the Late payment markers, the errors sat quietly dragging you down. Banks and Lenders know this. They are happy with you watching a number go up and down, and you'll never think to question what's actually written about you. Your score is useless if you've never checked what's behind it. So - straight questions: Have you checked all 3 of your credit reports? Not the app that shows you a score. The actual reports - from Experian, Equifax and TransUnion? Are they clean, or stained with errors nobody's ever explained to you? Do you have negative markers sat there that you've never challenged - because you were told they were "permanent"? If you've never done this, you don't actually know whether you truly have good credit or not. You know a number the system handed you to keep you calm. Drop a 👀 below if you've never checked all 3 reports. Let's fix that over the next few days.
