In my calc 1 class, I was really excited to teach the derivative “shortcut” rules. After weeks of using the limit definition, power rule was a sweet treat!

@Tammy Reeves Everyone loves the power rule! That’s the one where the exponent is multiplied by the coefficient, and then the exponent is lowered by one. Besides that, there’s product, quotient and chain rule, to name a few. I think my students’ favorite though is the constant rule, which says the derivative of any constant is just 0 🙀
