Great question
A student sent me a message "Initially I had thought clearing the vomit would take priority but if he’s unconscious, isn’t it CAB. So that means checking for a pulse would be immediate, no?" What's your thoughts?

Primary assessment, whether it’s medical or trauma, starts with life threatening injuries. An obstructed airway is life threatening so fixing that should come first before CAB or ABCs.
