How do I actually rebuild self-trust?
How do I rebuild self-trust when that seems to be the core issue behind my confidence? I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress and become a newer, stronger version of myself, but part of me still doesn’t fully trust myself. I think a lot of it comes from setting high expectations, telling myself I’m going to do certain things, and then beating myself up when I don’t follow through. What I’m really trying to understand is: why am I still holding onto that lack of self-trust, and how do I actually rebuild it through my daily actions without falling back into the same cycle of pressure and burnout?
The 5 Things We Cannot Change
A teaching from David Richo that has brought a lot of peace into my life: There are 5 things we cannot avoid in this human experience: 1. Everything changes and ends 2. Things don't always go according to plan 3. Life is not always fair 4. Pain is a part of life 5. People are not always loving and loyal Most of our suffering comes from arguing with one of these realities. We want things to stay the same... We want life to be more "fair". We want people to be different... We want pain to disappear. But from my experience peace begins the moment we stop fighting reality and start working with it. Not because we like these truths. But because they're the truth. Which one of these 5 has been the hardest for you to accept? 👇 Let's talk about it.

3 and 4 are the hardest to deal with because my self talk is basically gone down the drain at times but have short bursts of energy where I think I’m doing great but then it crashes again 5 is describing me and how I treat myself.

I am determined to do what it takes to reach my financial dream. I don’t care the pain… I don’t care the suffering… I don’t care… I will get it done!
