Hi Naomi, this is powerful, and also useful. Many years ago, I was telling a mentor what I wanted out of life and he said, "Who do you admire?" I told him, and he said, "Envison yourself behaving this way. What would that person do?" This also lines up with James Clear's advice about habits...to not just decide that you're going to run, but to tell yourself, "I'm a runner". Because when you do that, you say, "Well, I'm a runner, and runners don't take unnecessary days off...the do the work." Thanks for this post and reminder to look down the scope of the future and behave not like the person you believe you are, but the person you believe you can be.
