Red Hat Linux
Hello everyone, I'm Joe! I recently joined this awesome community to be active with the world of Linux. I like to ask if anyone in the community is actively part of the Red Hat Linux Family? I'm learning Linux and using Ubuntu as my start, however, my focus is on Red Hat and so I like to ask what recommendations would be the best for getting there. My goal would be to land a Junior SysAdmin role if possible. As so any tips or advice along with what to avoid along along my journey would be greatly appreciated!

@Muhammad Sufyan Ali Thank you for your input Muhammad! Just to share, I invested in a System76 Linux laptop and decided my starting point to learn linux is using Ubuntu. So far so good as the GUI is similar to windows, just different names for applications such your doc's, email, and so on; however, I need to work on using the terminal along with the CLI. I have to agree 100%, the more hands on, the more you become knowledgeable and confident in which in my case probably will not be too long before I input a key command unintentionally on the keyboard only to realize something is either different or I broke something. So I definitely will keep practicing daily. By chance are you a Red Hat user?

Okay, good to know as I'm slowly getting there. I have this thought of ditching windows with all their challenges, security issues, as well as the unwanted ads. I've been a windows user as far back as I can remember when windows 95 was just being released and a Mac user for the last 10 years using it as my primary. I'm actually loving the idea of Linux with the many options and of course choosing your distro based upon what you plan to utilize it for, etc. Thanks for the advice and input!!!! Have an awesome weekend!
