Looking for Ideas for preaching a sermon on Mothers' Day
Greetings, I have been asked to preach on a Mothers' Day in Canada. The church has given me an open check with regard to the text and trajectory. Any ideas and suggestions will be most welcome. Jorum

I am really spoilt for choices now. This is really encouraging. Thank you @Scott Nichols and @McKay Caston. Blessings
Try this: Do a biblical study of your keyword (find unexpected connections)
In my seminary homiletics class this week, something came up that I found helpful. When selecting a keyword, do a biblical-theological study of that word. See where else in Scripture it appears. There may be some amazing connections that can be made by simply doing a study of the keyword and its usage throughout Scripture.

My key word for the Sermon I am preparing for Good Friday in Romans 3:21-26 is propitiation. Keen to found out where this will lead. Blessings.
Text & Keyword for Sunday
What is your Scripture text and keyword for this Sunday? Any of us preaching the same passage but using a different keyword?

@McKay Caston Jesus is the true Abram who left the holy garden to redeem our Sodom bound sight.
Poor in Spirit
Hey everyone. I’m new here. I lead worship at my church here in Canada. My pastor has asked me to back up here and there. I think of David “Who am I, Oh God…” 2 Sam 7:18. Every time I’m called-I don’t feel worthy and not qualified. I’ve got zero training, no seminary. So, I come before you all with ears to learn. Grace and Peace be with you

Biggest frustration in prep? (and how to overcome it)
There is a long list of sermon prep frustrations that I've experienced over the past 30+ years. Here are some of the top issues I hear as a preaching coach. - I often feel behind. - I struggle with sermon structure. - I experience unfinished sermon stress all week. - I am constantly rewriting my sermons on Saturdays. - I feel like my sermons get too confusing and complex. - I rarely receive the kind of positive feedback I long to hear. - My sermon application feels shallow, forced, and sometimes moralistic. Q: Can you relate to any of these? Q: Which ones stand out as most problematic? Q How has Preach360 helped you deal with them? Let's talk about it in the comments! 🗣️ Also, we'll deal with some of them in tomorrow's live coaching workshop—and demo the latest Preach360 web app. I think we're only days away from a community beta test. Hope to see you at tomorrow's workshop. McKay

This is my struggle at the moment; My sermon application feels shallow, forced, and sometimes moralistic. Thank you for the grace driven approach, I hope to finally preach Christ and Him alone crucified and not crucify His children again.
