I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

We are about to start the Spring Retreat tonight with Peter and the Experiencing the Nature of Being Workshop. I am really glad to have @Fiona Vodrazka here as a zoom assistant. Its also nice to see @Jakub Holý here in Texas, and soon @Lilia Hrabar @Youcef Nessah @Joris Haag and others on zoom. Lets get to work!

Greetings to you all I spent my holidays in the cheng hsin holland camp 2025. Working, training and studying hours everyday felt challenging. Still, im in awe with the training approach of the martial week. Whats unique for me is that i never found any physical training with such a big emphasis on body principles. Elsewhere i might practice techniques with attention to detail, and here, i must additionally pay attention to what i‘d describe as a broader, more „open“ aspect of the body‘s movement, ie. the body-being principles. I feel well taken care of in terms of being able to dialogue with brendan or advanced practitioners regarding a topic at hand. A take-home from the EUS-Workshop: -being introduced to the possibility of taking apart my emotions from a first-person-perspective. Getting a real glimpse of how my emotions are built or what „elements“ are necessary for them to arise. I see that possibility as a new and exciting study of my non-objective inner world. Cheng hsin gives me a direction towards what feels like for me: an understanding more satisfying than any theory. What i hear ralston describe as „being there with it“.
