I’ll be checking who’s in and who’s not so I can get everyone feedback before the next call. Simple truth:The players who show up to these calls are the ones improving faster than everyone else. Halftime Nutrition: What Actually Fuels Your Second Half
Tonight’s coaching call was focused on one thing: how to properly fuel your body before and during games so your performance doesn’t drop in the second half. We broke down: - What players are currently eating and drinking at halftime - Why most athletes are under-fueling and losing energy late in games - The difference between carbs vs protein timing (and why protein is NOT your halftime priority) - Why high-carb, low-fat, low-protein snacks are the key to immediate energy - The importance of electrolytes, sodium, and hydration for maintaining performance - Why certain foods like oranges, dairy, and high-fiber snacks can actually hurt performance mid-game - How to choose snacks that are fast-digesting and game-ready - Real examples of top halftime options like: Applesauce packets (quick energy, low fiber) Bananas (in moderation) Pretzels (for sodium + hydration support) Dried fruits (high carb, fast fuel) We also answered player questions on: - Protein shakes (when to use them and when NOT to) - Meat/protein snacks vs carb-based snacks - Managing stomach discomfort during games - How to test what works best for your body Bottom line:If you don’t fuel correctly, your second half will suffer. Simple. Now it’s on you to apply this, test it, and build your routine. 📌 Attachment: Halftime Nutrition Guide (Recommended Snacks + Amazon Link To Purchase)

Very good list. I always have raw honey before a trial.
🔥 ELITE COMMUNITY JERSEY GIVEAWAY 🔥🎄 EVERYONE CAN WIN 🎄⚡ LET’S FINISH THE YEAR STRONG ⚡
Listen up. This is NOT a random giveaway. This is about mindset, commitment, and showing you actually belong in this community. I’m giving away Elite Soccer Academy jerseys to the athletes who SHOW UP and ENGAGE. Here’s exactly how you win. Follow this step by step. No shortcuts. ✅ STEP 1: CREATE A POST IN THE COMMUNITY Your post must be about your goals for 2026. What are you chasing? What level do you want to reach? What do you need to improve? What kind of player do you want to become? Be real. Be specific. No lazy one-sentence posts. ✅ STEP 2: COMMENT ON 2 OTHER ATHLETES’ POSTS Go support your teammates. Leave positive, thoughtful comments. Encourage them. Add value. Push them. One-word comments are trash. Put some effort in. ✅ STEP 3: COME BACK HERE AND COMMENT “DONE” Once you’ve: • Posted your 2026 goals • Commented on 2 other posts Come back to THIS post and comment DONE ✅ That’s it. 🎽 WHAT HAPPENS NEXT After you comment DONE: • I’ll personally reach out to you • I’ll confirm your jersey size • You’ll receive your jersey in person at training or by mail My goal is to get these handed out before Christmas 🎁Custom jerseys take time, so the faster you act, the better. 🚨 DEADLINE ⏳ ALL STEPS MUST BE COMPLETED BY: 📅 12/15/25 at 11:59 PM After that, entries are CLOSED. No late posts. No exceptions. No chasing. Post. Support. Comment DONE. Let’s flood this community with goals, confidence, and momentum. 🔥 GO TIME. LET’S MOVE. 🔥

Goals for 2026
My goals for 2026 is to be a better midfielder, someone who can make plays and also score goals. I also want to make it to Ecnl regional. I want my coach to count on me to make plays and help the team win.

Respect these goals. Wanting to be a midfielder who can both create and score is exactly what separates impact players, especially at the ECNL level. If you focus on playing quicker between the lines and arriving in the box at the right moments, you’ll give your coach real reasons to rely on you. Stay consistent with your work rate and decision-making, and those opportunities will come. Keep pushing! ECNL is a high standard, but this mindset is the right start.
Goals for 2026
My goals for 2026 is to become a stronger all-around player. Defensively, I want to apply pressure on the ball, stay balanced, and work hard to win the ball back for my team. Offensively, I want to stay calm and confident when I’m under pressure, keep control of the ball, and make smart decisions. I also want to improve my shooting so I can take my chances and help my team score. Most of all, I want to keep working hard, learning, and supporting my teammates every game. Clarissa Gonzalez

Love this mindset, Clarissa. Becoming a stronger all-around player exactly where you’re focused. Defending with balance and pressure, then staying calm and composed on the ball. One thing that really helps with confidence under pressure is getting used to making decisions while tired, so training those moments at game speed will pay off. Keep working on your shooting reps too. Consistency there can really separate you. Respect the emphasis on effort and supporting your teammates, that’s what makes players dependable. Keep pushing!
