Fun Fact Friday!
Fun fact: Gummy candies were originally marketed as “dancing bears.” 💃🧸 In 1922, a German candy maker named Hans Riegel (founder of Haribo — short for HAns RIegel BOnn) created the first gummy bears. They were inspired by trained dancing bears that performed at festivals in Europe. The original bears were bigger, leaner, and way less squishy than today’s snackable little sugar pillows. (And probably not as tasty! 😆) On yesterday's vodcast, I talked about turning Jordana & I into gummies. 😂 The vodcast was recorded and posted if you want to catch up. Ok, so check out the pictures below. On the left is the pic that popped up on my FB feed. The one on the right is the one that ChatGPT made when I told it to make us into gummies. 🤣🤣 Enjoy the long weekend! Happy Galentine's Day, Ladies! 👑❤️

Bread!
Hi folks. I love peanut butter and jelly but while I'm injured I'm also trying to hold to stricter macros and calories. I'm always hungry and I love food so it's always challenging. I was excited today to add this to my mix. I love peanut butter and jelly, and I was able to make a half a sandwich for a little over 100 calories using this white bread. It has protein too! Check it out.

so 4 × 4 protein =16, 9 × 1.5 fat = 13.5, 12 x 4= 48 Is that how you did it? 77.5 but it looks like the multiplier is probably two to two and a half because it's modified food starch which will just run right through you.... went back to try to do some more research after you commented. I had a feeling because of the keto, but I I'm still excited about it because it also has protein. :-)

Mobility Training
HOPE THIS IS OKAY TO SHARE... Just sharing that I recently purchased a Mobility program called the Moves Method, there was a $27 deal on a program that I know a couple of people who have already taken advantage of as well as bought into their one-on-one training (which actually is quite expensive). The $27 program links you to a month's worth of videos which is also available here on Skool, it's enough for me at the moment, and it's quite challenging. Mobility should be a part of everybody's training regimen. Mobility is not stretching, it's not static, but a dynamic strengthening of the joints in every direction improving range of motion so that you can move more fluidly and hopefully pain free. I'm hoping that this will help me with some of my injury management. I have a lot 🤣😭 They're also plenty of free Mobility programs on YouTube. Just be careful, not everyone's an expert. If you have a Peloton app there are Mobility classes available on there too. I'll definitely be researching some more online options that are free, and I'm happy to post them in the links below once I find them. And don't forget to take time to stretch too! Don't skip out after your workout it's super important. :-)

@Candace Chan it's pretty challenging. I have to modify it because I can't put my hand on the ground, and some of the deeper knee bends are pushing me in a different way. But overall I think it's super valuable just to be doing mobility every day almost in general
Happy Monday! 🙂
It's the last Monday of the Month! What are you doing to make your soul happy today? 🥰
