Lightstream Loan
Does anyone have a breakdown on what your credit report has to look like to get a Lightstream loan? I personally have a 789 Transunion FICO 8 with 3 primaries: 3k Quicksilver that is a year old 15k Venture X that is 3 months old 14k installment loan that is 5 years, 10 months old Average age of accounts is 2 years, 4 months The installment loan is paid down to $1,193. I don't carry a balance on the cards. I think right now it's reporting that I have a $421 balance on one card, but that's just because my payments report 5 days after my due date. My utilization is practically nothing. i have 2 hard inquiries. First inquiry was for the Quicksilver opened a year ago and the second inquiry was for the Venture X opened 3 months ago, so my last inquiry is about 90 days old. My payment history is excellent. I have no negatives on my report to speak of. Anyone think I can run the 35k Lightstream loan play with this profile or do I need to build it out more?

@Zac Repinski Thanks for the info. I got an offer for a Chase Saphire Preferred in the mail. If I spend 5k in 3 months I get 100k points. What do you think I should do first? Should I apply for the Chase Saphire Preferred and then the loan after or vice-versa? Google says Chase pulls Experian but that they sometimes look at TransUnion even though they don't do a hard pull. I'm not sure if the hard inquiry from the loan on TransUnion would mess up my chances at getting approved for the CSP.
Just got a Venture X...
...For 10k. It's my second credit card ever. I also have a Quicksilver I opened in October that I've gotten up to 3k. I wanna get a third card with a 10k+ limit if possible so I can age it with my Venture X and go for business funding later. Any suggestions on what other card I should apply for and how long I should wait before applying? I wanna get a new card as soon as possible but I don't wanna get denied for applying too soon. I have two inquiries on each report from my Capital One cards. The inquires are from October of last year and June of this year.

@Arthur Koster I'm guessing I'm at least 6 months to a year away from applying for funding. Not sure how long I have to wait. I got a 3k Quicksilver I opened in October 2024 and a 10k Venture X I just opened. Other than that I have a 14k installment loan I been paying on since 2019. My credit score is in the mid 700's on all 3 bureaus. I'm about to open my LLC. Haven't done that yet.

@Arthur Koster I'm gonna upload my credit report soon. As of now my CLI on my quicksilver and my Venture X haven't hit my report yet. All my report shows is a 2k Quicksilver and my installment loan. I don't think I can do Truist because I live in Louisiana. Not 100% sure on that but last time I googled them nothing came up in Louisiana.
